I had to go out up the road today .... so decided that as I'd got a tub of random weeds I should fill it up and take that to the tip too ... and pop into Sainsburys for "anything nice".
Came away with 16 choc ices0 -
Hope it was all routine, Maggie
Thanks Yorkie.
We set off just after 4 as school run and rush hour makes for busy roads. Got to the top of the flyover by The Rocket to see really black clouds ahead. Got to car park, and as we were rushing for the entrance the rain began. Took lift up to level of next building (there's a bridge across road as level 1 in new building is level 2 in old building) and when we emerged it was absolutely chucking it down. Waited about 10 minutes in Radiology, took about 10 minutes for me to have CT scan, by time we emerged to outside again the rain had stopped. Results to GP in a week, but the nurse I saw will prob be in touch sooner than that. Tomorrow will have to call GPs to see if results of blood tests taken last week are through yet.0 -

One of my Davies' married a Jones... Fortunately I do actually remember them so that made it easier.
It's the other side of the family that has all the Mary Anns!Plus all the males down the generations seem to have the same names. Not helped either that there's a generation shift - my Grandmother had a Stepdaughter who was older than her.

Fingers crossed Maggie.
Puppy pulled me over today as we set off for a walk. He tugged and I turned and fell backwards hitting my head on the concrete drive.
Rather stunned and feeling a bit fuzzy I asked a friend to come over, as I did not know if I would feel better or worse later.. I have a large bump, a grazed scalp and a bit of a head ache. Trip to minors at ED, seen very quickly. Nausea had passed by then, so just to have company for next 48 hours, and no alcohol.
OH in Russia, DD will WAH tomorrow, will spend Thursday with a neighbour.
Scalp very tender and rather bloody. not looking forward to washing it.
Need to rethink puppy walking as i am easily knocked off balance. We had to decide not to take the rehomed dog ( a 40kg 3 year old)as he and puppy in combination were going to be too much of a risk for me. Puppy learning to walk to heel but still tuggy. 16 weeks and about 15 kg.0 -

I was going to say that you forgot Jones, but Maggie got there first. I had "Thomas Jones, son of William Jones, born in 1902 in North Wales" for my grandfather. Fat lot of use that was until the 1911 census came out (and still had problems locating correct marriages ... !Puppy pulled me over today as we set off for a walk.
Hope that any ill effects pass really quickly Spirit.0 -
Sorry to hear of your fall Spirit - must have been very discombobulating. So glad you had a friend to get you to A&E and help you. Is there anyone who could accompany you when you're puppy walking until he's trained to heel?
Look after yourself! Hugs from Liverpool.0 -
Have a fear of falling on head again..have done horrible and knees is horrid as well but heads have a scull protect but does not protect from all accidents for sure.... need to take extra care now knowing puppy is so strong...not knowing about dogs much but I guess there must be leads that help that pulling......BW Dianne0
