Which too me is the whole point of a PC - it is inexpensive and straight-forward to make upgrades to prolong longevity and why sticking with equipment that slows everyone down in their jobs is such a false economy...

I did have a job as a contractor for a while. Fortunately, they upgraded their PCs before I got so frustrated that I quit. There is absolutely no way that I could have put up with it for as long as you did. I just don't have the personality type that can do that. Likewise, I'll always drive for ten minutes to avoid a traffic jam that might only take five minutes.
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

Would someone recommend somewhere I can take the kids and doglets in the first week of the easter holidays? In England.

They are a bit older now; 15 and 11. I want them occupied if I am having to work, so facilities for them nearby.

    Any ideas?

There's one place we've been quite a bit but phone reception is almost non-existant and hard to work there.

Don't have teenagers, so don't know, only where people I know would go with kids that age... Centreparcs, as per GDB, Butlins have different options which may appeal (eg Diversity off BGT), outward bound type event somewhere? My BIL and nephew recently did a Bear Grylls one, but by all accounts was very hardcore.

Every day I am thankful that I managed to get a job that I genuinely enjoy. I did so many jobs I hated, albeit well paid ones.

It's going to be Scortchio today, the sun has that feel about it. And I made a delish tarte aux prunes to take to work today. Nom, nom, nom.

The Boy has homework to make dinner for the family this fortnight. We're doing garlic prawns, slow roast pork with all the trimmings and chocolate fondant for pudding. NOM!!!

It was weird weather here today. In inner Herts it was a weird sleet/snow/hail combo. I think other parts of the country had all or part of that. Then bright sunshine with mega wind gusts.

I was in our green house, sheltering from a sudden downpour when it lifted off its base. Decided it was safer to get wet.

By this afternoonthe green house had taken off. it is now at a 45 degree angle across the base. Oh not sure it can be fixed.

My hair has now grown back enough for me to have it cut into a "style".
All of the remaining old hair has been cut to blend in with the new, and I have layers. 50 shades of grey, but looks quite good. Very pleased it looks better than pre-everything. Every cloud and all that.

Scary stuff spirit. Thank goodness you are safe. On a positive note, your hair sounds fab. I had alopecia when I was younger, so know how important it is to have your hair grow back and how big a part of feeling better it us. Getting it styled is the icing on the cake.

Well trained. In our house all a boy would be capable of was pasta.
