They are asking £10m for that flat, so they need lots of cushions to pad the price.

    :rotfl: Good one GDB!

If we CBA then we could take screenies of those cushions and play "spot the rented kit" in future houses for sale as they crop up again .... and again .... as the home stagers hawk their goods from photoshoot to photoshoot.

It's a bit vulgar though isn't it? If that was my place, I'd put in some nice modernist pieces and ditch the chandeliers as well as 80% of the cushions.

When you run out of proper things to spend money on, you have to start buying nonsense ... and there are plenty of people willing to suck up to you when you're loaded, convincing you that they're the "guru" your life needs .... it won't be long before it's in Emperor's Clothes territory.

These wealthy people buy things .... just because they have to buy things, at any cost, incessantly, for no good reason.... they p155 their money up the wall.

I just wish I could invent something they all want :)

Maybe I could rent myself out as "Sneering Companion, to make you work harder" ... whatever they do I can just bleat comments that they're useless, not up to much, making poor choices .... to anger them into working harder.

    I bet there's a market for that.... :)

And if any potential clients are reading .... "Cor, you've slacked off early today... no wonder your life's !!!!!!"

How much would you charge to tell me I've been a really naughty boy (and spank me if I don't improve my ways)? DO you do out calls?
    I think....

It needs a declutter! It does look like someone can't stay out of the local interior shops and forgets to edit.

    No market, PN.

If they admit to it, or not, I think you'll find most people have a voice in their head that does that work for free.

Ah ... I have had one (dirty bugg3h) response to my post though ... which I am ignoring. :)

How many cushions does one need on a bed?

This was Hugh Grant's place, apparantly. I bet he didn't have that many cushions.

Why would you put 8 cushions on a bed?? It's silly.

    Nice gaff, horrible furniture.

We're still dealing with the aftermath of the storm over here. It turns out that the people that built their house right next to the ocean aren't insured for the damage done by the ocean. I have some sympathy but they are looking for the Government to make them good. They want the taxpayer to fix their multi-million dollar house! Ain't gonna happen, I hope at least.

Lots of floods messing with the traffic, a few dead and my front garden has about half a tree in it (not necessarily in order of importance).
