    Still there.

I hope he had a sleepless night, nightmares of the sight of an elderly lady lying in the road where he'd left her. Or maybe I was a child .... he'll never know as he never bothered to find out.

There's the outside chance he just thought "Ah, that fit young lady of about 21 will just bounce and be fine".

Any chance he really doesn't know? You said you didn't bump into his car directly.

I once witnessed an accident on the roundabout above junction 5 of the M1 (A41 interchange if anyone knows it).

Three lane roundabout that circles 2 parallel roads. !!!!!! in outside lane made a last minute decision to take the next exit and crossed 3 lanes of the roundabout to do so. Car 2 in front of us breaked sharply as !!!!!! drives across his path. Car in front of us goes into the back of the car 2 in front of us. !!!!!! sailed off the roundabout, quite probably oblivious to the crash he had caused.

In some ways, if he wasn't aware, (and I agree, he probably was aware), then all the more reason to make him become aware of what his bad driving resulted in!

How many cushions does one need on a bed?

This was Hugh Grant's place, apparantly. I bet he didn't have that many cushions.

Cushions on sofas can be ok. Some sofas I've sat on have such a deep seat base that to lean back puts strain on your lumbars, so a cushion wedged behind your back gives the right support.

Cushions on beds are just an absolute pain. Along with those stupid decorative strips of material that look like a table runner.

Speaking as somebody who has a well known natural nose for what's tasteful and fashionable.... I can say that if I'd won the lottery at £10million over the weekend - and if that were a house and available on any plot I wished, for a price of £100k .... I'd still not want it :)

    I wouldn't want it either!

And cushions on a bed....I know they're supposed to be the thing, but why? All you can do with then is put them somewhere else when you want to go to bed, so what's the point???

PN Glad you seem to be relatively okay!

Pyxis Guess what we found in Asda today....PISTACHIO ECLAIRS! They are rather sticky but gorgeous.

They are asking £10m for that flat, so they need lots of cushions to pad the price.
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?
