Nuts? In May?
Is that an attempt to get a different song going round and round in Hamish's poor head?
:rotfl:
I suspect that HAMISH has enough going around in his poor old head as the booze slowly metabolises into acetaldehyde and then into acetate.
Acetaldehyde is the horrid one as it's a carcinogen. Acetate is okay but makes your breath stinky I believe (maybe incorrectly). Acetate then breaks down into CO2 which you breathe out and water which you wee out.
If you lose weight you also breathe out most of the fat as CO2 AIUI.0 -

Not pleasant.
It was pretty grotty up here this morning - trying to brighten now although the cloud base is still below 2000'.
Still, I did need some rain to help consolidate the new rose bed0 -
DD2 had a football Tournament this morning, apart from the ungodly 08:30 sign in time it went pretty well, They finished top of their group with 4 wins and a draw and so were in the 1st/2nd final which ended 1-1 and went to penalties after extra time. Unfortunately they lost but DD had been subbed so didn't have to take one that she was dreading, It ended 5:4 with the keeper missing the 10th penalty. DD2 is a sweet little thing but once she gets on the pitch she doesn't take any prisoners, if you try to get past her defending you are fairly likely to end up tacked to the ground
It also wasn't raining here just a bit cloudy with the odd drizzle and a few bits of sunshine. Apparently boomerang Poms come back when they discover that not only is their no pub culture but also that Sydney gets twice as much rain as London.I think....0 -

Not really, because your body metabolises the fat into fatty acids and glycerol which are then used as energy sources by the body's cells. However, the end products are CO2 and water.
In a nutshell, sort of thing.
But not in May.
The nutshell, I mean.(I just lurve spiders!)

If there are two posts that really shouldn't follow each other it's those:rotfl:Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

There's a good pub culture still in country towns but not in Sydney. Sydney pubs are mostly awful except the notable ones that are dreadful.
Sydney gets twice as much rain as London but it falls on half the number of days at a guess.0 -

Doesn't that make me right just one step removed?
I never was so good at biology.
The Boy's team got spanked at soccer today, played off the park. It was 4-1 but could very easily have been 10-0. It's a shame because the opponent team's coach is an utter !!!!, just dreadful.0 -
@HAMISH, two things:
1. I'm done with the silly capitals!
2. Is 'loon' slang for 'boy' in Aberdeen?0 -
