(Or do you have a very small oven?)
Have visions of a pizza about 3' diameter, but have never seen one that big in the Coop!(I just lurve spiders!)

This actually really annoys me - not the building of Barnet but that the people who live there no doubt fight tooth and nail against any new development in the area or nearby and can't see the irony of that position.....
Building is a real PITA for the neighbours. I live in a road with just under 20 houses.
One house has the builders in. Fair enough. It's just a skip in the drive and a bit of coming and going.
Three others have major development work under way. One of those has been completely demolished and they've dug a 15 feet basement over a large part of the site. That involves loads of digging and 30 ton trucks driving over the pavement. I say over the pavement, but I really mean through the pavement, as they churn it up. Plus the cement lorries and cement pumps.
So, I can't even take the dog for a walk round the block.
The other two have demolished around one-third of the house, and it's slightly less obtrusive.
I haven't mentioned the noise, have I?No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -
PN is defo a MSE....a very flourfilled day you've had0

Oh, and there are 2 houses for sale in the road, including our next door neighbours, who have planning permission for a full demolition and rebuild job, including a 15 feet basement less than a metre from our house.
Too right I'm against development. Buy your house and live in it. There's no need to make it into a building project. No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -

We had 3 years of the new neighbours re building an old bungerlow...quiet people Sunday church always... but the plans where in and off they went.selfish selfish people 100% selfish..the builders never stopped in that time all day 5 days a week often more... just feet from us and the area you could drop a pin it was that peaceful once.....
I would always consider neighbours in anything when so close...it is different when you live away from other houses but most people live close enough to surely have to care about others....we had occasion to cut wood for the best part of a day once and warned the said neighbour being our only close neighbour aat the time and they actually accused us of running a business from home and questioned whether we had permission even...I did blow my top...really blew some heat.....0 -

And now I've got some middle-class garden berks, discussing all those posh things that people with money/land/big gardens talk about.
You could be watching culinary works of art on BBC1! :rotfl:
I was very nearly on Gardeners' World once. To do with a dahlia-growing experiment..........(I just lurve spiders!)
