Good stuff Kab. I especially like knowing that you have done this from being much less fit.

    What an inspiration.

    Thanks DG.

    A bit of race scandal...

The baggage collection point before the race was a scene of chaos. I and most others just dumped the bag near the collection point.

This did not augur well for post race.

So...race finished, and I'm in a queue for bags with seemingly no end, and no movement.

After an hour of me shivering DW kindly took over and I walked back to her car with DS.

She finally got my bag TWO HOURS after we had started queueing!!!

15,000 runners relying on the endeavours of volunteers from a local school! Like that's going to work out.

I feel really sorry for those who were worse for wear at the end of the race, and had no choice but to queue for hours for a bag before a long drive home.

    Well done Kab!
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

It was a bit blowy - but not from a direction where I was terribly aware of it if I stayed indoors. It's the winds from the South that seem to be the most 'frightening'

It just brings you down to earth how short our lives can be and how they would change without our soulmate..certainly would not be able to cope myself but hubby would be more able....sorry for posting such downers but that is life sometimes aint it my NP

O&H, that's how I found out about my friend in Norfolk dying, through Facebook.
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?
