I would say I'm jealous of Gen, but St Kilda's not exactly just down the road from Sydney.

St Kilda is down the road from me it just happens to be a very long road, almost 900kms long

My mum got scared off from smoking while pregnant (or smoking in general really) when her sisters all had big beggers whilst hers were all fairly small, I was her largest at six and a half pounds.

A friend of mine (now sadly departed but not due to cancer - she became an alcoholic, none of us knew!), smoked all through pregnancy and got the warnings all the time about having a small baby. When her baby was born and the midwife came round a few days later, she turned around and said she was glad she had a smaller baby because she smoked as she couldn't imagine what her 10 pounder would have weighed if she hadn't.

For balance - when I was in hospital after having one of the boys, a woman couldn't understand why her baby was so small compared to others (barely scraping 5lbs full term), she was a chain smoker which she hadn't been when she had had her other healthier weight children.

Something that will always stay with me from my cancer treatment is the people standing outside the cancer ward with a chemo drip in one arm and a cigarette in the other, coughing the last few weeks of their lives away.

I smoked for years and that image is something that stops me going back to it.

Morning kab! Good luck with your run!
Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

Driving around a small village this morning, in a UK-registered vehicle, when the only way out of the village is the same as the way in didn't make me feel conspicuous at all.........

This might be joke, but I have watched that film (it's good) and I didn't realise until a good way through on the second occassion that I had already watched it. I think maybe I only watched the second half the first time.

But I always forget films and books. I can tell you if I liked them, but I can't really recount them. I'll often turn around quite a way in and tell Doozer I've already seen something. :o. So I may have watched all of it the first time.
