I just poked my camera over the fence to next door .... scaffolding's off.
There is this terrace of four, then the entrance/gap, then another terrace of four, and 1 detached. These are 2-beds.

These cost £265k for the end ones and £260k in the middle.

My sister in law thinks I am a have and they are a have not because I am able to pay my bills. What she doesn't see is the meals of cereal (for myself) some nights to free up the pennies to do so, the going without buying new clothes, the no going out, cooking from scratch, meal planning etc. and she forgets I also have two at university whom I am supporting financially. I live on the debt free and mortgage free boards collating all the information and tips and putting it into action to spread the pennies more.
They actually get more than me...but waste a hell of a lot more than me on stupid stuff but still she thinks of me as the 'rich one'.
It's like people who spend lots of money on non-visible stuff, like holidays, restaurants, clubs/theatres, gyms, spas, expensive food, alcohol, hairdressers etc. etc., then wonder why they have no money for a new car, or similar, and think that because you have, you are somehow richer. Well, erm, no, just didn't have the holidays, restaurants, clubs, spas etc. lifestyle.
Horses for courses, but they don't see it.
It's like they don't see the expensive lifestyle expenditure as 'goods', so it doesn't somehow count.
A bit like people who say they don't eat much, so why can't they lose weight, but forget about the alcohol and fizzy drinks that are full of calories.(I just lurve spiders!)

Got here soon after 7pm. Traffic much lighter than mid week. Temperature in caravan was 75degrees F! (our thermometer here is one that was my Dad's)
The caravan behind us has been placed since we were here before when it was just a concrete plinth. We'll try meet the new people tomorrow if we can - 2 cars there, but no signs of life.Snowden across the bay by Maggie, on Flickr

Just had some terrible news from back home
A friend of a friend's (I know the friend in real life, the friend of a friend is someone she lives with in Tbilisi, so we've only communicated via Skype when friend is there) sister and mom was murdered, sister was raped, last week.
Ana has only just got back from honeymoon in Turkey and has only just found out about it.
Someone was arrested already, however knowing the legal system (both are working in a court in Tbilisi) in Georgia, this is a prosecution that could take years. Difficult times are ahead
I didn't know the people, and don't know Ana well, however it's another terrible thing to happen in recent events.💙💛 💔0 -
OMG, CK, that's terrible news.
Things like this are bad enough when they happen to strangers, but when it's people you know, the shock is really bad.
It's as though a chasm is opening up and letting out foul creatures.
Lots of hugs needed, I think, whether actual or metaphorical.
Yesterday, while in the dressing room at an AmDram thing, we saw smoke billowing into the sky.couldn't see where it was coming from, but there were flats in the general direction, so one's thoughts start thinking the worst.
"Luckily", on my way home a few hours later, my normal route took me past two fire engines still playing water hoses onto what had been a sort of brush fire, so it hadn't involved any buildings. Most likely a discarded cigarette onto very dry vegetation. Anyway, I could relax that it wasn't anything worse, although it's still bad enough as there were houses nearby and a recreational area with lots of people enjoying the sun.(I just lurve spiders!)
