    Start googling for that ...

I get confused and over whelmed by it all, to be honest. So much information to take in, so many choices ... but no "instant solution" sold in a shop for £5-10 that I can walk in, understand, buy and use the same day :)

It's all lovely and quiet here right now. Patio doors open - listening to all the birdies singing... lots of birdies sing their little songs.

Just one eye on the open space.... in case furries decide it's time to come out. Not seen one for a couple of weeks though, maybe me poking around with a big stick changed the environment enough for them to think "nothing there...."

    :)

I've been .... to the chippy. Mega stuffed with a fat belly of hot chips. They weighed nearly 500 grams! But I managed to get through them all because usually I'd split that in half and have half tomorrow.... but today I ploughed on .... *burps*

    I wonder what's worse:
    - getting caught bagging one, or
    - getting caught tea-bagging one?

One's illegal, one's just awkward if you get caught.

I'd never even heard of it!

Maybe we should insist that all BT engineers should constantly sing this as they work so we will recognise they aren't magpies behind bushes

Viva, that's such a shame. Did you manage to get back to sleep again?

    A little bit.

Is this a one-off, or are you having trouble sleeping often? Sending hugs either way.

Thanks. Big family issues. Things have deteriorated quickly since I wrote over at the other place a couple of weeks ago.

Out all day today in Stratford, got caught in the monsoon like rain as we thought it was just a few drops, we'll stay outside just a little longer....we were soaked by the time we reached cover less than 50ft away. Good day out but blooming tiring and I still didn't get a pair of shoes, been looking for a fair while as mine are now dying a death after 3 years (got a massive bargain on them, full price was £65+, I paid less than £20). I did find a pair which met all my requirements but they were £80, not blooming likely!

Joe applied for his passport last Friday, it arrived this morning!

And finally, the testing he has to have done as a day case IS to do with his cortisol levels, they are on the low side..begger.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

    Oh, Viva! Hugs to you.

And I seem to have joined the can't sleep club, too.

I'm joining the wide awake club, but only because I'm at the airport for an early flight. :)

I've been up an hour... had a bath/washed my hair... gloriously sunny outside.

Re shoes.... I was in 4ldi the other day and they had a clearance section and there were some ladies trekking boots, size 5. Now, I'm not exactly that size, I'd usually try on 3s and 4s and wish they had a 4½, but they were £4.99, full price had been £19.99. So I figured "At £5 it's worth a punt" and bought them.
They're not a colour I'd choose - but they do fit (no idea how well they perform trying to walk 1-3 miles yet) .... but they mean I've got "shoes I can walk in for years". In fact, I don't think I'll ever need to buy more "walking shoes" as I got a nice pair a few months back £12 instead of £30. So that's me shod for life in the "properly rambling/walking/wandering" department.

For "office style shoes" I picked up two pairs of brand new leather shoes about 4 years ago at a chazza... £4 a pair. Not worn them yet, but they're there in case I ever need "standard, flattish, office style shoes".

Day to day I wear £5 faux-Crocs ... and I've a pair of wellies if it's wet. I buy a new pair of the faux-Crocs about every 2-3 years and keep the newest ones "for best" while making sure I completely kn4cker the older ones, so I've probably got 3-4 pairs in total, including one cheery/summer light coloured pair.
