Evening Spirit! Hope that you are doing well.

Doozer, I just read your final riposte on the thread about sound insulation. Please warn me when you are going to make me spit my coffee out on the keyboard:rotfl:
    :o

Great thread. Davesnave won that thread, I think, with his manifesto!

I think it may have been taken down.

Drat, I missed the manifesto. Shame, I like davesnave's humour.

Woken up about 3 times to get a glass of water now, and finally opened some windows as it's started raining, so hopefully will be some cool air soon :)

Good to see Spirit back :)

Nice to see you, Spirit. :hello:
Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. (Link permitted by forum team)
Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.

The Wide Awake Club has been up since 4.15 because of being uncomfortably warm ..... and a Choc ice is currently being eaten for "breakfast".

Now that's what I call sensible eating!

Better than a receipt I posted here once.

I think it was cigarettes, pizza and a bottle of vodka :)

Cripes! That's not nice at all!

Any idea where it came from? I mean, is there a stream nearby? Or is it filthy humans who can't deal with their rubbish?

I used to live near a stream, and would see rats from time to time, but only if I went to the end of the garden where the stream was, or if one of the cats decided to bring a dead one in as a present. :(

By the way, rats are quite good at scaling obstacles.
