That's not really practical without a lot of spare/storage space between them.... and a bigger vehicle than I've got probably.

It's just one item .... ebay or facebook will shift it. Paid £4, should be able to get that back easily enough. New they're £30 I think.

It's all theoretical at the moment anyway as I left it outside in the garden to "air" - taking it out of the cover.... and I went to move it and the whole thing pinged open!!! So I scrubbed it all inside.... and tackled folding it back down.

4 attempts and an injury later it's currently down/wrapped, but 50% too big to fit into the cover.... somewhere it needed one more twist/fold than I managed to work out :) So I opened the shed door and put it in there.

I could make money videoing myself multiple times failing at folding it away :)

    This is the type

Ah, I see what I did wrong there - I got so far and then he folds his inwards - and I folded it outwards. :)

If I can do it .... I might keep it 1-2 years and see if I actually use it.
We'll give you a tenner if it is as new, the kids love them as play tents but as they are so hard to fold they tend to stay out all summer and onlt last 1 season. They normally cost about 15 quid.
    I think....

No, it's not new. So you'd not want it - and the cost of postage these days would mean it'd take me two hours to find packaging/wrap it, get it posted and probably cost an arm and a leg.

I thought, at worst, I could get "£5 delivered within 3 miles" for it on FB.
I'd just stick a postage label onto the cover and try and find one of those deals where you get courrier delivery free via cashback.
    I think....

Blimey, Pastures, how long is your grass that it blows in the wind?
Ah... too bl00dy long. I did cut it once, about 6 weeks ago ... but the bugg4h's grown again.

I'll give you a hint - grass grows more if you cut it. So if you don't, it'll get to its natural intended length and stop there - of course, its natural intended length varies from variety to variety, from a few inches to several feet.

Therefore, if sometime we don't hear from you for a while we'll just have to assume that you ventured into the "lawn" and are still trying to find your way out :rotfl:

Best to cut it and take it straight to the tip. So the day I cut it, it has to have been dry for 1-2 days, dry the day I do it, at a weekend, when I fancy it - and when I remember.

Grass is easier to cut when its dry, so I'm told.

The trouble is, if there's noise, I have to know about it ...

But if you go out to escape the annoyance, you don't know about it anyway.

Wide awake club here. Think perhaps I am too hungry to sleep. Wasn't feeling quite well when it was time for eating so didn't have much. Perhaps I should sort myself out with something to eat and see if that sends me off to sleep...

Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.

Gave up about 6am as gate banging was annoying, so got up, made a coffee and have been watching telly.

A door or gate banging is one noise that absolutely drives me nuts. That and snoring. I can sleep despite other noises, but not those. I remember ages ago having some friends and their kids to stay in our old house. The parents liked to sleep with their door ajar (so as to hear if their kids needed them) and their window open. The door kept banging, quite quietly, but I just could not ignore it. In the end I crept quietly down the landing and put a sock in the opening of their door, so it could wave about in the breeze without actually making a noise. Then I slept. Can't do that with a neighbour's gate though. In that situation I'd be up rummaging through drawers looking for ear plugs. I rarely use them now, but used to use them if LNE went through a snoring phase every so often, and usually take them with me when sleeping away from home, just in case there are annoying noises.

Doozer, I just read your final riposte on the thread about sound insulation. Please warn me when you are going to make me spit my coffee out on the keyboard:rotfl:
