When I was a child , we knew someone who said he hated gardening, so he covered his ENTIRE garden, (and I mean ALL of it) in concrete.
And he had children.(I just lurve spiders!)

I'm in a clique! It's a clique of one! It's a unique clique!
I love :eek:0 -
I've never had a garden before so I've been going absolutely bonkers - four new flower beds, veggie patch, decent netting frame for the strawberries, supports for the raspberries, etc.
The back garden's looking quite decent now, hopefully I'll get the front one looking better soon - if the blasted seedlings I've got in the lounge can be bothered to grow more than the inch and a half they have so far0 -

Can you just reassure us that he took the children out first? No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -
I'm no gardener - but the seedlings would probably grow better if in the garden rather than the lounge...
LOL - they are in individual pots in the rear half of the lounge. I didn't chuck the seeds over the carpet and add a good dollop of water :rotfl:
They aren't ready for going outside yet and the lounge is a better, more stable temperature than the greenhouse as yet.0 -

There was a bit of frost on the cars when I looked out Saturday morning.
Almost everything I've got already in the veggie patch is under cloches though, so they should be OK.
The only things that aren't are the onions grown from sets - because they've sprung up enough that they were starting to hit the underside of the cloche !!0 -

It's similar, if not more, at most places up here. Conveniently, the National Trust has car parks in most places I'm likely to go - and members park for free. It's the only reason I joined0 -
Just seen the news about the explosions in Egypt.Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.0
