How to remove wiring from a sky dish
Comments
-
Well, problem now solved, hubby and I have ben down again today to check the inside of our house to comply with our insurance and heating/water left on in an empty house. As soon as we parked up I could see that her cables were removed from our property. Yippee!
I tapped on her door and the first thing she said was,"I was just going to call you", Nicky (neighbour on the other side of her) had done it for her. Clipped the ties, unscrewed the connectors, thrown the cables over our porch roof and they were rolled up in a plastic bag. I asked her how she was going to get the sky dish issue sorted and she said, oh I haven't got sky now, couldn't afford it after partner left her so it was purely for freeview that she needed the signal. She said that around 2 years ago there was a new mast located nearby and so she can get her freeview from that. I thanked her for getting it sorted and said I was very sorry it had to be done but it was something I couldn't prevent.
All my worry was for nothing. I can tell the solicitors I've complied with their request and can they please get their act together so we can exchange and complete on this sale ASAP.
I thank you all for your suggestions and hope that this thread might be useful for someone else to read in a similar situation.
Thanks again folks0
