Good morning all (just about)

Well, as you may guess by my posting at this time of day I didn't make it into work this morning. I spent a lot of the night wandering round the house and taking tablets. DH took the kids to school for me, and I slept until about half past ten. I feel quite a bit better, but I got up and did a couple of things and feel wiped again. I'm pleased I didn't go into work because if nothing else I need a bit of a rest.
Here's today's list:
:lipsrseal check banking and PAD
:lipsrseal do not leave the house
:lipsrseal rest lots
[STRIKE]:lipsrseal cancel tonight's training session[/STRIKE]
:lipsrseal a little bit of housework
:lipsrseal aim for nsd
:lipsrseal meals from stores (not that I feel like eating anything but need to make sure dh and the kids are ok)
:lipsrseal watch tv with my feet up
:lipsrseal don't stress about being ill - I can't help it
:lipsrseal crochet if I feel up to it.
:lipsrseal spend time on here
:lipsrseal nap if I need to
Good luck with the interview Twiggy - keeping my fingers firmly crossed for you.
Stay safe out in storm Imogen everyone - thankfully we're not too badly affected this time round.Not giving up

Sorry about the greenhouse panes & leaky roof.....not great here, but it's obviously way, way worse down in the South West.
Have pretty much done everything on my list, which is good as I didn't achieve so much last week with being so lergyfied. I just have 1 more Annoying Thing to do (a very quick one as it's just wrapping 3 items of glassware for the charity shop). I couldn't order my new pedometer as the one I wanted is sold out, but no problem, it's not urgent. (Mine will still deign to work on hard pavements but not softer wet ones, grass or trackways!) So, am off to make my lunch (defrosted some of the celeriac soup I made last week), then it's a bit of leisure time for me.
CCL - Was glad to hear you have taken a poorly day. Sounds like you needed it.
Cat not been so picky this last few days, so think the tough love approach is maybe working regarding constant demands for new food to be opened every time he fancies eating anything.

Thanks all, it's raining again here so I am hoping they have sorted the issue now! Spent two hours cleaning all the damage caused.
To continue a bad day, I took my DD to nursery to witness a lunchtime assistant bellowing at my DS for an incident that had taken place. I am not very impressed with the way she spoke to him and will be up the school later making a very big complaint!!!! :mad::mad:DMP Started June 20160 -

I would absolutely hit the roof if anyone did that to dgd :mad: I would put the complaint in writing and send a copy to the board of Governors as well... Good luck with it x
So small things for today:
* went to free play group with dgd
* was given a load of lo celery from the group. Need to work out what to do with it!
* reply to email about being involved in a research project. 4 hours work for £30 & travel expenses
* all meals from stores
* just putting on pork casserole. Will make jackets while oven is on
* working tonight at 6
* text colleague and see if she will swap shifts with me next Monday (mine) for Weds as it's oh's birthday
* vacuum & polish lounge & d/s hall
* washed up items with one bowl of hotwater (instead of running it, leaving it, letting it out and running it again...
* restarted WW diet - but doing it on my own rather than joining IYKNIM
* NSD
* load of washing
Ok that'll do
Have a great day guys x

I will let you know how I get on.... He's clearly done something wrong but no one speaks to my son like that. It's a shame for her I got there when I did.DMP Started June 20160 -

This is my OH's style of washing up except he also just seems to run the hot top continuously! I don't wish to turn down help with the house work but I just wish he wouldn't! (He is also one of "them" who leave the tap on whilst brushing his teeth!!!)

Said this in the wrong thread earlier so I thought I'd post it here where it's supposed to go haha
My DFW action of the day - get a better gas/leccy deal.
Just wanted to say - if you've not spoken to your gas or electric supplier in a while, give them a friendly call! I just got Scottish Power to reduce my direct debits every month to a more manageable amouint (I don't need to be paying so much into it to create a surplus, I barely ever use my heating).
Not only that, they told me about a cheaper tariff and now I'm paying £50 less A MONTH!
What a result!Goal: Debt-free by 01.12.16
