Evening all,
Not much done flying wise, but have been mega busy again.
Wm, DW, s&S, school run, stupid paid stuff, paid some bills at lunchtime, more stupid annoying paid stuff, went for smear test and was kept waiting ages as if it isn't bad enough (sorry for tmi), came home, cooked meal, helped dd1 with practice for accordian exam (tomorrow), baked blueberry muffins with girls, put girls to bed, now just going to take dog for a short constitutional (no doubt in Pouring rain) then I might just be able to sit down.
OK that was a bit of a rant. Sorry to moan, think AF possibly on way (sorry tmi again)
Glad skinty doing OK. cy hope you too are OK xx the0 -
Evening
Doggies have lovely smiles YL
Not achieved much here today:
Lots of paid stuff. Spoke to boss man and told him one piece of work needs a developer. I can "manage" it but it needs a coder - especially since I won't be keeping it long term. Happily, he agreed so that frees up a lot of space to finish my other projects:)
Put online grocery shopping away.
Sorted one wash, and emptied DW. Tidied up after dinner.
Put a few bits away from weekend that were lying around drying off.
Had a homework HH with kiddies. How is it DD can read "somersaulting" but not "likes" haha "lickies" anyone?
Had a homework HH for myself, finished up journal and printed my sheets out ready for tomorrow.
Sorted bags etc for morning.
Just need to organise my pack up (breakfast, lunch and dinner) then I'm off to bed!
Nothing will get done tomorrow, either...Bossymoo
Away with the fairies :beer:0 -
Not much achieved here today. I've been decluttering programmes on the dvr while sewing my bag. I think I might line it with something before I start using it, but not sure what I have that'll fit... I've also spent quite a while playing with Zack and I've also groomed him including clipping his claws.
I think I'm going to go and find where DD hid the polish and dusters then dust the livingroom in the ad breaks while I watch X-Files. I'll try putting the sofa cover back on as well if its dry. I need to charge my phone so I'm going to be up for a while so I might get some other things done while I'm at it.
:wave:Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
Cor...what a day!
Apocalyptic weather (on flood warning again - field all around are currently lakes) and only got four hours sleep due to an horrendously long journey back from Sussex that took 7 hours rather than the usual 4 yesterday, so I was grumpy from the start.
Had a site meeting with the surveyors and a plumbing engineer that went on for t-h-r-e-e hours, but we got loads thrashed out. Got another meeting on Thursday with the loss adjuster, so hoping our contents claim can be finalised and we can get some furniture on order.
Chap who bought our car came to collect it today and drove off very happy. DH's face was sad...
Braved the horizontal rain to get corn for the chickens and a few essentials from the SM. DH tagged along, so we spent £50 on carp. Seriously, why does he do that?!?
Decluttered a nap whilst Tiny was dozing, then woke up two minutes before Small needed collecting from school (DH sitting oblivious in the caravan!). Mad dash to the school with a shock of hair and my eyelashes stuck in clumps...
Pizza for tea, kids bathed, stories read, glass of gin poured and relax....
Did have a chuckle at the thought that a lurker not knowing the story of the golden fluffy mule would be imagining flying donkeys, if they happened on some of our posts on this thread. :rotfl: I've not experienced a Piggers flylady thread, so am waiting for the fireworks!
Ooh - got some Mongolia tree seeds if anyone would like some. Don't ask what type as I'm [STRIKE]quite[/STRIKE] hugely proud I know it's a magnolia. PM me if you're interested. I understand they can take up to 15 years to grow big enough to flower, so you may have a bit of a wait.
Hugs to all in need - hoping Skinty and CY continue to get better and loves to you all x0 -
Ground floor henried
Lego dusted and repaired 🙄It has taken over the living room
Towels washed and dried in td's last day.
Garden is a swamp.
6 hours of paperwork kondoing

Hugs, sticks and spoons X
Hope Skinty and CY are feeling a little better X
Lovely knits X

Just got back from gym. MyFitnessPal wouldn't let me close today's entry until I'd had a banana and a square of chocolate!!
Just need to get paperwork out for tomorrow, not much as I just have one student for a lesson so need his stuff and a report to fill in the time if he's late or I'm early. Must get up early enough to beat traffic and get to Insanity and Zumba first.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.0 -
Frizz.. that is a known fault and they will just replace it. OH's sister is on her 4th!
I really hope they do. He has only had it three months! He loves it! My slight worry is that they take it apart and find out he has done something to it!glad to hear skinty is doing ok x
Ionafan- hope you are felling better. Migraines can be very tiresome!
I did the ironing tonight and we have just had a cup of tea and our Apple turnovers. They were absolutely delicious and hubby kept asking where I had bought them from. :j I love being frugal with a couple of apples that needed using up and some leftover pastry!
I also sat with ds1 and gad a lego fest. So the big bowl of 'bits' is now only a small bowl! Still a few buts missing though. Grrr!
I have another midwife appointment tomorrow. I know they will start to talk about induction but I want to hold off as long as possible. Come on baby......Grocery challenge- feb 2015- £133.07/£2500 -
My stepmother went to 43+5 with my brother. She had monitoring every 2-3 days to check oxygen to the baby and all was absolutely fine.. I also know someone whose children were all 41-44 weeks gestation.. if it isnot what you want.. say no!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0
