How far are you in composing your stuff for them?0 -
Well before we do anything we should send off a part 18 to the their solicitors0
-
Part 18 request, as shown in the BMPA link already given to one/both of you.
And make sure you have both acknowledged your claims with 14 days first. Leaving the defence BLANK.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Quick update on this case. I have prepared the part 18 with a deadline of 14 days from tomorrow. Took me a while since I was extremely busy. Let's see what they come up with.
I asked 5 questions mainly - (shortened in this post for convenience)
1. Which car park is this referring to. Attach copies of all relevant PCNs with pictures.
2. Copy of contract between UKPC and landlord
3. Accurate information of signage on site in the form is pictures. Pictures must include relevant site in the background. Also provide dates signs were installed with proof
4. Were there signs at the entrance and did they conform to BPA
5. Provide dates of all attempts at communication with Defendant
I haven't printed it yet so if anyone reads this then please advise whether I should send it as is. I will check the post in the morning before I send it off0 -
Hey Gasantinos, any update? I'm struggling at the moment.0

Just to add a recent example (long) defence about a different parking firm and with stuff about Michael Schwartz and some details which are NOT relevant for you but plenty of this is and shows you what to put at the start (and at the finish, if POPLA has not been tried yet):

Yep but have an eye on your 28th day from service of the papers and do not miss defending. You can't wait beyond your deadline.
An example UKPC defence now being worked through on pepipoo might assist:
