i would definately ring Tesco. If you are a lover of a spot of Brut Champagne there is no way you are going to consume six bottle of triple sec, it is the sweetest of sweet sweetie drinks. Hardly sparkling. They must have got the trainee picking them out.Snootchie Bootchies!0

Morning all
Not exactly a pink trolley lol but just seen this in my emails. I probably saw it here and it had sold out so put it on stock alert.
Wondering if anyone has purchased one before and what sort of quality they are. Was thinking would be good to go to local chemist about half mile away to pick up OH prescription which usually consists of 20 bottles of ensure  So would need to be strongish.

I'm wishing I hadn't looked at the 'Special Offers' :rotfl:There's no place like home

Charity shop run done.
Superdrug to collect c&c orders. Are those gift packs really £10 each :T. Cranberry and Cream bath set. Had 3 irders to collect and asked the girl if I could open them in shop and leave the boxes there  she opened them for me but had to remove my name and address from them as they are not allowed to put these details into their bin :T
Lidl all done. Got a new pair of slippers £2.99 not the design I wanted as the sizes were no good to me. The black ones go up to a 7 and fit nicely. Good durable rubber soles too
Home for a coffee and a rest before I phone to make a booking for hotel in Clacton for a night. Groupon £29 b&b for 2 people will do us very well.
Not going to Mr A but did see reports of rtc bin bags etc. I cannot believe I have almost got through my bin bag stash  I thought I was on a par with Dotty. There again maybe I use more than he does
Back later XThere's no place like home

OK....guys I need some advice on my mystery boxes...is Tiny around maybe...or anyothers who can advise.
They have arrived ....um not sure what to make of them..quite a lot of SB which is ok I can live with that ...2 bottles of prosecco in one of the cases and the value of 9 bottles in each case add up to £58.40 in one case and£70.50 in the other...so not bad for a £96 spend...
however...each case also contains 3 bottles of tesco finest curacao triple sec,A liqueaur I think...38% ...what do I do with that?...1 bottle could live with but 6.....very hard.
How do I return....does the whole cases go back to the store or just these 6 bottles.....and what do they offer in exchange.....looking on the websites Twine dont stock it but T.Com groceries do at £9 a bottle.
Any answers/suggestions gratefully received.....
i'm not the best one to ask LEJC as I just always keep what arrives although never had a liqueur. I do remember some people getting random spirits in the boxes couple of years ago but everyone was happy with those from memory not that I got any.
I think your best bet is to ring them as you haven't been sent as described, it is meant to contain "wines" from the description. You may then be offered a discount which might be agreeable.
As for returning I think people that have return the whole box for a refund if they are unhappy. HTHs0 -

Thanks Tiny....I've decided that I'm going to a store this afternoon armed with the 6 bottles in a separate bag, explain the situation and see how it goes....quite frankly I would be happy for a partial refund as actually I did need some wine and 18 of the 24 bottles are perfectly fine(some I wouldnt normally have picked off the shelf but more than happy to give them a go....there were 3 jacobs creek steingarten reslings in one of the boxes that were numbered wines so clearly more than the "standard"£4 a bottle!)frugal October...£41.82 of £40 food shopping spend for the 2 of us!

thanks all...just spoken to Twine...and they were a little ambiguous....they say because it isnt something thats stocked by them as such its best for me to return it all to store....but I will I think either be offered a full refund on both cases, which is a shame as 9 bottles in each are what I would consider "drinkable wine"....or I could be offered a £4 per bottle credit on the triple sec as thats the allowance per bottle in a mystery case......but its all very SA dependant.
1 bottle of this I could cope with but I'm sorry 6 just is taking it a little to the extreme for us....
Now to choose my store to return to.....
Is this the mystery white cases LEJC as I am surprised they are passing you off to the stores, as it was an online order and you have not received what you were expecting. If it isn't stocked by them how on earth did it get in the box.
Not often I agree with returning but you didn't get 12 wines in each box as expected regardless of the quality of the wines. I would ring them back why should you have to go in store.0 -

It is certainly worth a go, good luck, no way would I want to lug a whole box back to a store. Fingers crossed for you. x0
