we have had a very upsetting afternoon

We had a little girl cat stray sleeping in our porch for a few days. She had obviously been a family pet, very tame and very friendly Sadly though she had obviously living wild for a some time as she was very thin. Our vet checked her over but she was not chipped.

We put up posters in all of the local shops and also at 3 local vets but sadly her family did not get in touch. We have 3 rescue cats and she was terried of our three - I dont think she had much to worry about with Ronnie and Treacle but Sophie is very combatic, very territorial and very possessive of her Dad.

Sadly though and with it dropping to minus 5 overnight we had to take her to the local RSPCA cat rescue place this afternoon. Although they only really take in sick and injured but she was deemed skinny enough to be admitted especially in view of the weather conditions.

Feeling very upset about it, we have always managed to take in whatever walk bys come in our direction but with three now we really are at capacity.

At least though she will be warm and well fed and no in any imminent danger now and hopefully before long she will have a new family to love her.

I had some individual cans of 440ml Strongbow, Carlsberg, Foster, Guinness, Stella Cidre, Carling British Cider and Coors Light at 69p in M. Which, of course, are better on straight prices than £3.00/£3.50/Any 2 for £7 offers that come around on the four pack cans:wall:. Of course, 4 pack can of one of those with CB used to be better!!

  • Meant to say earlier, T's also had 75% off all Valentines flowers - good price but the red is so very dark, almost burgundy so I didn't bother.

  • I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn't arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I'm going to be happy in it. :)
