    More printer advice please.

HP have offered an exchange of printer. It looks like the replacement will be a refurbished model. They will deliver next Monday and then I need to arrange for them to collect the old one within 7 days.

Or I could take this one back to costco and see if they will refund and buy new.

I had an instant vision of commuters on the Victoria line all clutching pizzas along with their briefcases and umbrellas... :)

I would, by the time they get this end it would be cooked anyway and about 9pm by all accounts :eek:
  • Been to little T's for a box to package an eBay item, and medium Easter eggs were flying off the shelf at 4 for £3.

Was disappointed to find no Malteser eggs (and no place on the display for them either) but after I went through till, I spotted a new cage being unloaded. SA said they thought they'd run out but someone had just found another cage of them behind something else in the back. So they let me swap mine. :T

The Sensodyne 75ml toothpaste tubes are off in M. The four that were £2 are now £3.54. Presumably allowing all the others to go from "[Strike]£4.00[/Strike]" to £3 (and in one case [Strike]£4.24[/Strike]) and look alright in the context of the four now at £3.54, when instead they are costing £1 more than buying one of those last week would have done. Avoid the £3!

It's amazing how many people must fall for prices that have been cut but not nearly enough. Especially when the look good when viewed alongside other items and people only have a few seconds to access whether they are good or not. Meanwhile, there appears to have been a "reverse price crunch" on the individual Passion Fruit if the SELs in my stores yesterday are to be believed - gone from 25p price crunch to 82p!:eek::eek: More than trebled in price!
  • 25% off TU clothing including uniforms, all this week.

    Advice please ?

Is artificial grass any good please and would it be expensive to lay a large lawn?

I have been thinking about it for back garden and Poppy playing out.

I am fed up with her coming in with muddy paws when it rains.
Last couple days she played out nice, no muddy paws grass dry and roly poly in grass :)

    Hiya Tweets
I'm against I'm afraid....very expensive if you get a good one and needs regular cleaning as well.
I know the grass gets a bit muddy this time of year but at least the wee is deodorised by the soil :)
My neighbours here in England have just laid some for their football mad son, but not impressed...in Spain they have people who come round and vacuum & hose it down for you , bit like a window cleaner but a grass cleaner !!!!xxx

Friends bought some. You will be replacing the mud that comes in the house with sand or similar. No mowing, but you will occasionally need to sand it. I know that kids can get cuts from it like papercuts, so it is not totally a simple choice. There are differences in quality and how the ground is prepared is very important.
