    Advice please ?

Is artificial grass any good please and would it be expensive to lay a large lawn?

I have been thinking about it for back garden and Poppy playing out.

I am fed up with her coming in with muddy paws when it rains.
Last couple days she played out nice, no muddy paws grass dry and roly poly in grass :)

    Fors and against please ?

Will also save on mowing .

I have no experience of it but I'd imagine any fallen leaves on it would be difficult to remove.

Ristorante vouchers from "try me free" promo expire 1/3. Sloppyties 30p ends today and is unlikely to return in time to use vouchers.

Saw last years £10 offer still in a shop last week  Must be OOD but was buried so i left it.

It looks like Taste Inc. Smokey BBQ Ribsteak (174g) is £1 in M - older stock, different BC so it remains at its price. Whereas Taste Inc. Smokey BBQ Ribsteak (169g), as showing online, is £2:eek: in M.

    So, a downsizing it seems.

I'm very hazy about these products and their prices however, as I'm reading between the lines again from the Ms I've used - may be a lot clearer in some other store. I have a SEL that says £1 and has 174g on it in one store, but the stock is 169g. I think that will be £2 as per online - unfortunately I can't scan every item, I already annoy staff enough by scanning the few I do and then cancelling off every time. Well, if they showed the right prices in every store on every occasion?!? I'm also seeing 2 for £3 flashed on some packs of other Taste Incs that are therefore it seems £2 individual price - obviously, ignore those as they (or versions of them that don't have the 2 for £3) go down to £1. I have a SEL for £2 in another store on the BBQ Ribsteak, however it says 169g but the stock (which would be straight £2 according to msm and not 2 for £3*), is 174g. So, make of it what you will.

I will retain Taste Inc Smokey BBQ Ribsteak 174g at £1 on the list. Whatever you do, don't be buying Taste Inc Smokey BBQ Ribsteak 169g at twice that price!

*EDIT: I actually have 169g version with "2 for £3" flashed on the packs - so, even though msm shows straight £2, they appear to be 2 for £3. However, 174g version seems to be £1.

    More printer advice please.

HP have offered an exchange of printer. It looks like the replacement will be a refurbished model. They will deliver next Monday and then I need to arrange for them to collect the old one within 7 days.

Or I could take this one back to costco and see if they will refund and buy new.

    Costco refund, definitely.

Then you can start again with a fresh warranty, and probably get a better printer cheaper too.

    Hiya Tweets
I'm against I'm afraid....very expensive if you get a good one and needs regular cleaning as well.
I know the grass gets a bit muddy this time of year but at least the wee is deodorised by the soil :)
My neighbours here in England have just laid some for their football mad son, but not impressed...in Spain they have people who come round and vacuum & hose it down for you , bit like a window cleaner but a grass cleaner !!!!xxx

Thank you never thought about cleaning it :)

Friends bought some. You will be replacing the mud that comes in the house with sand or similar. No mowing, but you will occasionally need to sand it. I know that kids can get cuts from it like papercuts, so it is not totally a simple choice. There are differences in quality and how the ground is prepared is very important.

Thank you :). Rather have mud then sand. Don't want Poppy getting cuts.

I have no experience of it but I'd imagine any fallen leaves on it would be difficult to remove.

Never thought about leaves . Lawn got leaves on all year round thanks to tree over back in neighbours garden it never loses it leaves completely like most trees.

So I am glad I have asked the lovely Elite :A and have already decided against it :D

I've got artificial grass. Cost was good as I waited for an end of roll to fit my garden on grass direct. Easy to lay (so he tells me). In nearly 3 years it is not damaged, not faded, we have never ever put sand on it. As for leaves on it I just pick them up but there are not many. And I've 2 children under 4. Not one incident or paper cut on them. I love it.

£7.97 RTC in M but I suspect although that's lower than any price on msm, it will still be too high for us!

RTC should not compare on TBG. Look at Waitrose - conveniently OOS according to that:D! However, I suspect they wouldn't match T's price (higher than M's!) even if they were in stock if they would see it as being on a temporary promotion in T. "Special Purchase" it says on t.com. Which, of course, is "merely indicative of the seller's own buying policy":p. Meaning it is not special at all for us with M over £1 cheaper.

Maybe it's on RTC in W and therefore not online there, and may be cheaper than it is in M:think::laugh:.
