I wasn't at T today but heard from a friend that there's going to be a bit of a shake up in the whoopsie department from tomorrow.
Probably store specific but it might let you know what's going to happen at your local store soon.
There will be no more 90% reductions. The lowest they will go will be 70%. Reductions will take place earlier in the day possibly between 5 and 6 and around about 7 they will be removed from the shelves and then distributed to charity. To do is to be. Rousseau

I won't be updating much tonight from yesterday's information as there isn't enough time to do so - I'll probably just put the lollies right, take the opportunity to remove the KP 500g nuts and replace with the Morries 600g ones and, possibly, change the Disney baby prices. Usually I put the list to rights by this time of the week at the latest so I can go out again on the Monday and check it again. However, it won't matter too much this time - as my normal stores won't stock any of what I got yesterday:rotfl:. So, if I go to M tomorrow, I'll update from the Monday information and incorporate some of Saturday's products along with it or get to the rest of that later in the week!0

Can I ask people's opinions please.

Does anyone remember me saying that a friend contacted me by text while I was living with my mum to go out for their birthday. And I had to decline the invitation as mum was so poorly I couldn't leave her for a whole evening the amount of respite from social services was limited and to be honest at that point a night out was the last thing on my mind my mum was dying.
I'm pretty sure I declined by phone not text but I am not 100% and explained how ill my mum was anyway, I text said friend on her birthday that year to wish her Happy Birthday and no reply in fact I hear nothing more. It saddened me to think there was nothing to ask how my mum was etc. Obviously losing mum was a difficult time and I was hurting so I left it. My friends birthday had only been a few days before my mum passed away.
Before Christmas this year so over 2 1/2 years on my girls all had friends requests on FB from this friend. My settings are tighter I didn't get one. None of them accepted as she was my friend not theirs. I just thought she was trying to be nosey.
:o
I did however just a few weeks ago come across a message sent few months ago in the hidden message folder I had no notification and had only clicked on it by accident. It said she often thought about me and could we meet up for coffee. Now I can be a bit stubborn and I have done nothing about it yet, I am still bit upset if I am honest there was no support for me when I needed her.
I had always been there for this friend in her times of trouble, she had my mobile no, home no, she knows where I live. I don't understand why she reached out through FB. And she certainly did not message the girls to say she was trying to contact me just a friend request. We do also have mutual friends (I don't mean FB ones I mean RL ones)
Anyway today my DD is working for a catering company at a wedding, guess who's? Yes my friends. She has told her she wanted to invite us and that's why she had tried to friend them and she had messaged me. I am now feeling rather guilty.
Just wondered what others thought please? She has asked for my home no which I have said is fine, but she did already have it. I haven't moved. Mr TS said if she really wanted us there she knew where we lived, she never had problem dropping in previously.....
She might have lost your number. Also FB is used so much these days that it is often first instinct for people to contact people this way.
Think you're just over thinking things.0 -
TS, I think it depends on whether you want to be friends with her again.
I have a neighbour across the road that I was friends with once. Problem was her daughter was a real bully, and one time she was throwing stones at gardens etc in the garage area behind our house. It was from a load of building rubble that another neighbour had ordered. I told that neighbour what she was doing and he went out to stop her, she ran and left a younger child to take the rap. Anyway the girl told her mum that she was nowhere near etc (inspite of the builders sand all over her clothes) and her mum decided to have a go at me. Not long after that her daughter was laughing with another young friend telling him what she had done and her mum overheard her, She tried to come and apologise but I did not even answer the door I was so cross. Anyway, a few years ago she started trying to be friendly again, but I will never be able to trust her again so that will not happen.
How did a quick answer turn into an essay
I think what I am trying to say is if you want to be friends contact her, if not don't.What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0
