SP Instant Mash Potato now compares against M:
1x ASDA SmartPrice Instant Mashed Potato (120G) £0.28 £0.28
Obviously they've found at least one M that now has the SEL up for their equivalent!
SP Bolognese Pasta Sauce does compare:
1x ASDA Smartprice Bolognese Pasta Sauce (440G) £0.39 £0.38
SP Pasta Shapes no longer pick up M (was 29p now 30p) but still continue to compare against T at 30p. They have dropped off the system against M and then maybe they have had a rethink and decided that M's Savers Pasta Twists aren't comparable to A's SP Pasta Shapes.
1x ASDA Smartprice Pasta Shapes (500G) £0.29 N/A
(Vs T 30p - not 10% cheaper.)
The SP Pasta sauces don't compare against M:(. They are each 20p in M. M is lower weight and one of them compares against T at 20p, so you would go with that, but the other, which is more expensive straight price in A (not accounting for price per g.) does not compare against M either:
1x ASDA Smartprice Tomato & Onion Pasta & Sauce (110G) £0.20 N/A
1x Cheese & Broccoli Pasta & Sauce (110G) £0.22 N/A
M 100g (within weight range) but the price collectors these days don't appear to be realising when some own label products at M are within weight. In this area, the online collection vs T, S and W seems to be more reliable:eek:. Or maybe they don't see the M products as comparable?
Vs T
1x ASDA Smartprice Tomato & Onion Pasta & Sauce (110G) £0.20 £0.20
But this beggar, of course, picks up vs M:
1x I Can't Believe It's Not Butter Original Spread (1KG) £1.50 £2.70:mad:
Vs T1x ASDA Smartprice Snacks (12X16G) £0.59 £0.59
N/A against M and W; 65p Sains!
Really, that's a 6 pack of maize snacks at 59p (less 10% against T)! Weights on packs of McCoys crisps for example have been 30g-35g.0 -

This looks like an old comp. as M was 26p on the Cucumber for only one or two days?0 -
Yes.Closely followed by Tesco

Thanks for the reply, because I was going to say - they got you the price of 10% off £3.15 on their Bitesize Shredded Wheat:(:wall:!:rotfl:
They very often do not do it right. When one of mine, on other cereal, did buy the correct Coco Pops - 800g at even worse A price per unit than A's price on the 550g - they ended up with 10% off Morries full price as M was the best overall. Only I got the 10% cheaper than T price. The other one bought me the 550g Coco Pops (at obviously much worse price than even T's offer on the 800g leave alone the 10%) and got 10% off vs M again (M best comp. on their shop). It's an easy sum to do: which would you choose? £1.80 for 550g or approx. £1.68 for 800g?
As regards my Mr A, it does seem they really do want people to buy the poor value 550g Coco Pops. They have brought some out now and put them into the foyer of the store. They are at worse price (from the POV of shoppers - better price for Mr A of course) than T's price on the much bigger box.0 -
