Good morning everyone. Hope you all have a lovely Valentines Day.
Quick question, where are you finding the leaflets for the free Olia hair dye? I had the email from Garnia, but can not find leaflets for the codes. Thanks.

I rang Garnier customer services and she gave me a code over the phone :T

I think people think facebook is informal but it is different for each of us, perhaps she didnt want direct contact as she feels guilty too XX

I am more comfortable with text than I ever will be with FB. One of my couple of friends has got me to grips with it a bit better by messaging me as she finds it difficult to read texts but that's only happened over the last month. Previous to that I hardly ever logged on.

You could be right that she feels guilty too. I do know from another friend she has moved so I do not have her current home no so if DD gives it her it will be down to her now.

More overpayments - and their shop is more than 10% cheaper:(. I think the Cadbury Twin Pots dessert is not showing on msm yet, but it is on a.com and has appeared and compared against M. So, they pay £3.88:eek:! Cathedral cheese obtained for way too expensive:rotfl:. Oh well - if they had gone to M, they would obviously have bought some of their shower gel at £2.18 each!

    Can I ask people's opinions please. :o

Does anyone remember me saying that a friend contacted me by text while I was living with my mum to go out for their birthday. And I had to decline the invitation as mum was so poorly I couldn't leave her for a whole evening the amount of respite from social services was limited and to be honest at that point a night out was the last thing on my mind my mum was dying. :o

I'm pretty sure I declined by phone not text but I am not 100% and explained how ill my mum was anyway, I text said friend on her birthday that year to wish her Happy Birthday and no reply in fact I hear nothing more. It saddened me to think there was nothing to ask how my mum was etc. Obviously losing mum was a difficult time and I was hurting so I left it. My friends birthday had only been a few days before my mum passed away.

Before Christmas this year so over 2 1/2 years on my girls all had friends requests on FB from this friend. My settings are tighter I didn't get one. None of them accepted as she was my friend not theirs. I just thought she was trying to be nosey. :o:o

I did however just a few weeks ago come across a message sent few months ago in the hidden message folder I had no notification and had only clicked on it by accident. It said she often thought about me and could we meet up for coffee. Now I can be a bit stubborn and I have done nothing about it yet, I am still bit upset if I am honest there was no support for me when I needed her.

I had always been there for this friend in her times of trouble, she had my mobile no, home no, she knows where I live. I don't understand why she reached out through FB. And she certainly did not message the girls to say she was trying to contact me just a friend request. We do also have mutual friends (I don't mean FB ones I mean RL ones)

Anyway today my DD is working for a catering company at a wedding, guess who's? Yes my friends. She has told her she wanted to invite us and that's why she had tried to friend them and she had messaged me. I am now feeling rather guilty. :o

Just wondered what others thought please? She has asked for my home no which I have said is fine, but she did already have it. I haven't moved. Mr TS said if she really wanted us there she knew where we lived, she never had problem dropping in previously.....

Maybe wedding invitation come by FB these days:eek:.........but mr TS is right....she could have found you by other means...perhaps as you say there's another agenda, guilt, embarrassment who knows........if it was me I would give the friendship another go. I think we need more friends as we get older not fewer and what have you got to lose? But don't feel guilty...it was her wedding and it was up to her to find you...not for you to anticipate that there might be a wedding on the horizon:rotfl:

    Good luck:)
