Beansprouts don't compare:(. 54p in M for 360g on Wednesday as far as I am aware.
1x ASDA Beansprouts (360G) £0.58 N/A
M may be preparing for a price change on theirs, possibly to increase the price:( as I noticed on Saturday that they had introduced packs that just had a yellow circle on them and without the price stated on them. I do not know what price they were as the shelves just said "PRICED":p (and, since any comp. would be irrelevant as it wouldn't use Saturday pricing, I left it at that). The old packs at 54p, which had the price printed on that yellow circle part of the packaging, may well if they are still in existence have a different BC. So that old packs, whilst still available, would have been 54p on Saturday - new packs on that day may either have been 54p or could - then or on an imminent day in the future - have a higher price. They can then vary that by moving between packs of different BCs.
The lack of price on the (seemingly) newer packs may be an indication that some price change may be under consideration. Or that, tomorrow, they will be putting me to the trouble :mad:of having to scan the packs to find out what price they are and find out they are still unchanged at 54p!
You may get whoopsied ones cheaper:rotfl:.
Mixed Chillies N/A, but rightly as M are outside the weight range.
1x ASDA Grower's Selection Mixed Chillies (60G) £0.50 N/A
Meaning that they have overpaid as they've paid a somewhat worse price per unit on these than getting the ones in M at cheaper price.0 -
Can I ask people's opinions please.
Does anyone remember me saying that a friend contacted me by text while I was living with my mum to go out for their birthday. And I had to decline the invitation as mum was so poorly I couldn't leave her for a whole evening the amount of respite from social services was limited and to be honest at that point a night out was the last thing on my mind my mum was dying.
I'm pretty sure I declined by phone not text but I am not 100% and explained how ill my mum was anyway, I text said friend on her birthday that year to wish her Happy Birthday and no reply in fact I hear nothing more. It saddened me to think there was nothing to ask how my mum was etc. Obviously losing mum was a difficult time and I was hurting so I left it. My friends birthday had only been a few days before my mum passed away.
Before Christmas this year so over 2 1/2 years on my girls all had friends requests on FB from this friend. My settings are tighter I didn't get one. None of them accepted as she was my friend not theirs. I just thought she was trying to be nosey.:o
I did however just a few weeks ago come across a message sent few months ago in the hidden message folder I had no notification and had only clicked on it by accident. It said she often thought about me and could we meet up for coffee. Now I can be a bit stubborn and I have done nothing about it yet, I am still bit upset if I am honest there was no support for me when I needed her.
I had always been there for this friend in her times of trouble, she had my mobile no, home no, she knows where I live. I don't understand why she reached out through FB. And she certainly did not message the girls to say she was trying to contact me just a friend request. We do also have mutual friends (I don't mean FB ones I mean RL ones)
Anyway today my DD is working for a catering company at a wedding, guess who's? Yes my friends. She has told her she wanted to invite us and that's why she had tried to friend them and she had messaged me. I am now feeling rather guilty.
Just wondered what others thought please? She has asked for my home no which I have said is fine, but she did already have it. I haven't moved. Mr TS said if she really wanted us there she knew where we lived, she never had problem dropping in previously.....0 -
I imagine it must be awkward for my friend with my DD being there uninvited, I wouldn't have known otherwise.....0

I have one where, at last, somewhere else is cheaper on the shop! It is T that is cheaper and helped by this:
1x Chicago Town The Takeaway BBQ Pulled Pork Pizza (635G) £3.75 £2.50
Bought very expensively without any meal deal:rotfl::rotfl:.
However, at least it has helped me to the full amount of the 10% off T's price:T.
1x ASDA Chosen By You Orange Double Strength Squash (1.5LT) £1.25 £1.00
1x ASDA Chosen By You Cherries & Berries Double Strength Squash (1.5LT) £1.25 £1.00
:rotfl::rotfl:
Lots of people (on the wombles) seem to be going for this expensive A mbuy. I don't know why they think that 2 for £2.50 on 1.5L juice is a good offer. Another one making the mistake of thinking it is good at the same time that the price at T is cheaper. So, another overpayment relative to T (it does help us when they make these mistakes:)).0 -
I am agreat believer in one more chance and I lose peoples numbers etc all the time.

Thanks wendy.
I am feeling rather guilty that I have not reached out to her olive branch.
I am just confused as to why she reached out through FB I just don't do FB except for a couple of friends who live away. It was the worse way to try and contact me but I guess she was not to know that.0 -

I think people think facebook is informal but it is different for each of us, perhaps she didnt want direct contact as she feels guilty too XX0 -
