    Even so I think your post ill advised ... To put it mildly ..

    A relative of mine suffers from panic attacks so doesn't use lifts. Simple really. Keeps her fit too.

    But using that logic she wouldn't cross the road, drive a car, eat anything with nuts in etc

  • No big deal was made of it because it didn't warrant it. 20 minutes stuck in a lift because of a breakdown is a minor inconvenience. The OP was 'freed' promptly.
