I haven't yet! Haven't even managed to do a full turn yet! I'm only 5' 2" so my feet do t even touch the ground! Need to figure out how to get him to spin without using my feet!0 -
Never had a problem getting my credit back from BGas when I switched to Sainsbury's - it just appeared in the joint account.
Npow*e are absolutely terrible! So many of the complicated billing cases we see are from them, although Power from Scotland aren't actually much better. You must have got them on a good day Sue0 -
Thanks for deflating me and my tactic Sue!
We moved into a new build in 2006 and I'm sure the suppliers were Scottish Power. Anyway 8-9months after living there and paying Scottish Power we received a £650 back dated bill off NPower! It took several weeks of trying to convince them that they'd never been our supplier, and as it turned out they were trying to bill us for a house with the same town name approx 450miles away!MFW: Was: £136,000.......Now: £47,736.58......0 -

:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek: that beats me
Forewarned is forearmed, as they say. The contract says in the miniscule print that refunds of overpaid electric are only payable at the end of the term. I got them because the miniscule minute terms also said they had to review my direct debit monthlyand as they had not adjusted said dd I fired back that they had broken the terms of the contract
:D:D:D I am with iS*pply

Yep, that sounds like NPower.0 -
I think I did okay with the food shopping. I figured out what I'd like to make for my cooking nights, made a list and popped off to Ald*.
There were a few things that I bought that weren't on my shopping list, although 2 of those things should have been on the list I just forgot to put them on there. So I spent an extra £4.06 than what was on my list (not including the 2 that I forgot to put on there) and spent £24.29 in total. It wasn't a full shop but I did get quite a few tins and jars of sauces to stock up the cupboards so I think it was pretty successful.
I've also had my payment for the books that I sold the other day - so that's another £22.91 gone straight into my O/P account. Duly updated my signature to reflect that. I get paid next Friday and I haven't got much left in the bank so I'm keeping my eyes on the pennies and pounds. Fingers crossed I don't need to spend much more on anything else for the next week. Or the expenses claim for work goes through soon. That will help a lot!0 -
So only 3 things left on my list and they're not of terrible importance. Again feeling very tired and a little emotional. Not sure what's going on with that - need to keep an eye on it. Despite my abhorrent dislike of early mornings alarm set for 7.30 so I can go to local parkrun. Must maintain exercise routine - need to shift some weight.
Will let you know how I get on when the results come through. Hopefully improve on last weeks time. Night peeps xx0 -
Good luck at the park run, fingers crossed for a good time.
Do you have to go far to get there?0 -
It's 8 miles away - so it only takes about 15 minutes by car.
From what I can tell from my running app I beat last weeks time by 58 seconds -and ran about 0.08 miles further! Although I couldn't breath after I finished so there was a distinct time lag between me hitting the finish line and me pressing 'stop' in the app.
Once I get my official parkrun time u shall update but I can tell I did better this week anyway x0 -
Official time has come through as 38.44 beating last week's time of 39.34. Pretty damn happy with that!!0
