I've been scouring TCB for the last 6 weeks. Had 2 big ones for Ladbrooks and Sun Bingo which only cost me £20 in total and I got £60 cashback. Can't remember exactly what else but bits and bobs all add up. It's just annoying having to wait for it to go through, track and then confirm. But it's free so I shouldn't complain. House insurance renewal next month. Hoping for a whopper there :D
  • Right I'm going to have a whinge cos I feel like it.
I'm bloody freezing and I've just typed a really annoying audio file. Can't give any specifics (not that it's relevant really) but this group of people just would not stop talking over each other!!! I know in a group its going to happen but seriously!! Please just keep it to one at a time!! Even two at a time would have been preferable at some points. It was chaos!
I hate feeling like I've done a substandard job and as I'm the first person to return their section (it was split between 3 people) I don't know if the others have had a similar problem or if its just me?
And my arm is bloody killing me. I got the implant in yesterday and the anaesthetic wore off last night and oh my god! For such a little hole it absolutely wrecks if I move it in the wrong way or put pressure on it in the wrong way. Moved in bed last night and it felt like something had ripped!! Although I did get some sympathy off hubby earlier on. I showed him what the site looked like (which is a tiny little mark on my arm) and got him to feel the implant. He didn't realise it was 4cm long. His response was "You've had a huge hollow needle shove nearly 2 inches of plastic in your arm. No wonder it bloody hurts."
The sympathy won't last long though!
    *sigh*
Anyway, I need to go and fill a hot water bottle cos I am absolutely frozzen and my bed isn't going to be much warmer. Hubby has an electric blanket the b********:rotfl:
Ah, well lie in in the morning. New comfy chair being delivered in the PM and I have a day of revision for my exam on Thursday to look forward to. Condensation, dampness and insulation it is tomorrow.
Cheerio peeps. Thanks for letting me vent x

Comfy chair has been delivered but won't fit into my room. Uh-oh. We've accepted delivery and hubby is currently removing bedroom door, doorframe and will probably also have to take down landing banister!:eek::eek:
I think I may owe him something for this. Maybe some beef jerky. He loves that.

On a more financial note I've transferred my TCB money into the O/P account so that has very nicely jumped up to £104.25. More will follow once I get more expenses sorted from work, but only got £100 til payday so will keep a close eye on everything.

Just been upstairs to see hubby. Feel incredibly guilty now :(
  • When my parents had a loft conversion done the hallway and doors were so narrow up there that they had to have a sofa airlifted in through the roof whilst they were having their dormer windows created. Suffice to say that sofa will never be coming out of that room again....not in one piece anyway :rotfl:

Oh my word that's hilarious! I know a friend whose husband was a piano teacher. When they moved in to their house they had to get the double glazed windows removed in order to get the piano into the study on the ground floor! Never heard of an airlift operation though.
Pretty sure that chair will not be leaving that room until it falls apart!
I hope I like it
  • Could this be why retailers tell you to measure before ordering furniture items? :D :rotfl:
