There will always things like this, I had that once in a hotel and got a full refund ..... hope you did
I only wish we could have complained but unfortunately we were attending a function and it would have upset people on a special occasion for them.
If it had not been for this we would not have stayed there and would have gone straight back to the Premier Inn!0 -
What would be the best way to use this then, keep monitoring it online and if ever anything happens I have proof of when/if they get permission which would trump anything they do?
All you can do is monitor what is going on, until the weekend you do not know what they are doing as yet
It seems you are in IT, does your company and staff use Premier Inn anywhere in the UK, if so, you might have a lever with them.0 -
There's nowhere else to park unfortunately.
This could affect a lot of people's ability to get into work.
As someone who spends most work days staying in a Premier Inn i would be well narked with people using it 'becase there is no where else to park'.
Doubt you'd be impressed with a lwb transit belonging to a resident blocking you in.0 -

It's amazing what you can do during the event or after by contacting the CEO.
Point is if Premier Inn do this, I'm gone, my colleagues have gone but hey, Premier Inn will survive0 -
Premier inn are now asking their residents to pay for parking. They take your vehicle reg number when you check in so they know who has paid and the cars that do not belong to their customers. This is being rolled out uk.
There is the odd hotel where there is no car park or the carpark belongs to landlord (usually city centre hotels) but most of the chains have this problem.
Every hotel i stay at takes the vehicle number.0 -
And that's Premier Inns fault?

But it is so simple, a barrier gate to get a ticket and if a customer, you get a token to get out. They simply allocate a number of spaces for the rooms.0 -

That's a new one on me.

Guess the answer is if you don't have to park in a city centre hotel, go out of town, plenty want your money0
