I can just imagine the kerfuffle taking place in the board room right now.

Eon Marketing Director is probably demanding a tariff so low that it will blow the MSE/BG Big Switch 4 dual fuel tariff out of the water.

Eon Sales Director is probably blocking such a new low tariff as it will upset MSE Martin if they now open a new lower tariff that beats the collective one only just offered through MSE.

and Eon Finance Director probably saying they can't possibly afford any further price cuts at all.

CEO called back from his holl's to resolve, but he won't be back until Monday

    :D

I've heard rumours there is absolutely no seats available on the Monday morning flight, so the CEO is having to fly home on a later flight ... meaning V20 is now not going to be launched until Tuesday at the earliest.

    As I say... just rumours...nothing concrete. :D
(except I know V20 isn't being launched Monday anymore)

Nice one footyguy. Brought a smile to our faces. :)

Launch date still planned for Tuesday, 9 February 16. Not heard anything different but I said that yesterday and looked what happened then. :rotfl:

  • We are all hoping V20 will be super cheap on tuesday. . .
But it seems there’s a good chance there will be a V21, V22 and V23 in the following weeks

As above, we're all waiting with bated breath for next Tuesday Maxwell007. It'll appear on our website and the independent comparison sites first. If you're already on one of our fixed tariffs (not a collective) and have signed up for Price Alerts, we'll email you the details. This could be a few days after it's released so best keep an eye on the websites I've mentioned.

I think I read somewhere that these Price Alerts are sent out in batches and can take up to 10 days for all customers to be notified!

Just out of interest why can't this be sent instantly to all your customers once a new tariff is released. It's a simple email sent to a mailing list. It's not rocket science in this day and age?

That's right youravinalarrrf. They do go out in batches and arrive within 10 days of the launch of a new version of an E.ON fixed rate tariff. I think it was me who posted about this.

To be honest, I'm not sure why there's a delay. It's something I've fed back on very recently as there's been a number of concerns raised on here. I'll let you know as soon as I know a bit more.

I'm now on the MSE Collective Fixed 1 Feb 2016 which has Price Alert service available (according to tariff information in my account) and which I'm fairly sure I ticked a box for when I went through the application process.

Are you saying you think I wouldn't get a Price Alert for V20?
