How on earth did she manage that KK? Hope you get the charges back :)
Just sold something quite precious to me :( but saves it being in storage! My selling pile is rather massive right now :-/ it's mainly clothes which is annoying and my listings don't even start til Sunday. So tempting to take it up the charity shop. Although I think they might ban me soon for taking too much down there. Halfway point on Sunday for the month!! Xxx

    3 sold £96 profit

Her parents run a corner shop so think she sold some stuff many many years ago (when they renovated it) and it's stayed that way!
She's going to re-register as apparently that's less problematic than changing from business to personal seller!
    First home- Oct’16 until June’21: £170.995- Overpayments made £13,784 (25% extra!).
New forever home- Sep’21 £309,449 @ 2.05%. Plan to clear it before 30 years!!!!!!
  • Wow! First three items sold...£43 total!! Brilliant for stuff that's been lying around in cupboards for ages!!

    Shoes are listed....next target handbags!

Don't mention Shoes and Handbags Therese1, weaknesses.

    I am at 6 sold totalling £39
Bids at £13 for the items that are left so far, they finish wed or thurs.

Not bad at all considering I thought we were ebayed out with nothing left to get rid of.
  • Another item sold and paid on a buy it now, getting irritated though because I sold something else 3 days ago which the buyer did on a "best offer", I accepted the offer which should be £13 inc delivery and I'm sitting here for 3 days pretty sure she changed her mind and doesn't have the courtesy to tell me she made an error. I don't think non payers get a negative any more do they? Soooo bloody rude! I accepted her offer over others and now I'm here pulling my plonker waiting.

    1 listed and re-listed :-/

Update from me today: another 9 items now listed, scheduled for 8.15-8.45pm tonight!

So that makes 20/29 listings done so far!
Oh and that 1 relisted book....that's not selling (again!)

One dress finishing at this time tonight and met minimum bid, and the old engagement ring had 5 watchers but no one contacted...ends on 23rd so hoping for some interest!

Gf is deffo getting the bug for this too and has listed 7 items (drafts as she can't schedule!) and has her Nike fuel and ending tonight at £24 :-) awesome! All going in the mortgage/deposit pot!

Keep at it everyone....think of the nice clutter free homes and bigger piggy banks :money:

Morning all! My dress last night ended at £10.60 which I'm dead impressed with :-) The gf's items went for over £40 in total last night too!

Weirdly we both listed lots last night and had loads of bids already- one of her items is up to £26!! We both nearly fell off the sofa :-)

Fingers crossed for good listing weeks and sales for us all!
    Have a great Monday x

Updated my signature - £25.04 so far. Not sure I will reach my target of £100 but hopefully should get half way at least.

Today I have been rubbish despite having the day off work so I could have done loads instead of sitting on my bum. I did take my first go at Facebook selling though! I have added 2 things in the last hour, although there are 6000 members I am not hopeful as it doesn't seem that busy.

    22 Items listed
    14 sold (1 unpaid)
    1 Bid

Still annoyed about the unpaid item on ebay! Rude!! How long should I wait until relisting, its been 5 days?

You send a reminder email. Then you go on eBay resolution centre and do an unpaid item dispute. If they don't pay within 2 days I think then they refund your fees on the sale. They get a mark on their file. I had one lady go on holiday for 3 weeks with no contact and then was annoyed and told me off that I hadn't waited?! Who's going to wait 3 weeks with no word of anything? x
