February Challenge: List 1 thing a Day on Ebay

Soooo this is really a big push for myself, I have a lot of clutter and I never seem to get around to listing it on ebay, gumtree, fbook selling groups. But not only do I want the money, I really do want to start shifting some of it in time for the summer.
I thought it might be fun to make it a challenge that anyone can join in if they wanted. My personal rules are:
Aside from the usual places there are others; there is a fantastic post here that lists them
Please don't post your user names / advertise your stuff, free to check in daily or weekly, say how you are doing, brag and share any tips!
If would be really nice if you would share your personal goal, any rules you might set and how you will use those lovely funds at the end of the month
May the funds trickle in to us all!
I thought it might be fun to make it a challenge that anyone can join in if they wanted. My personal rules are:
- List (at least) 1 thing per day
- List it, relist again once, if it doesn't sell, it goes to the charity shop. Decluttering is as important as the money
- Use the same paypal pot to pay for my postage and fees, only count the remaining as profit
- At the end of the month use that money toward a debt, not splurging it
- Personal goal of £100 of profit

Ooh, I'm up for this challenge! Haven't really sold much on eBay so very much a beginner. Will be doing this more for the decluttering than money.
One item per day (or equivalent over the month)
One question though...is there a 'better' time to upload stuff and should everything start at 99p??

Hi Therese! I tend to do 99p auctions unless I really dont want to settle for less than a certain price. I also try to load an auction to finish on a Sunday night of possible, or at the very least mid evening, people tend to get bored and have a look "just browsing" in the evenings.
I also use the app on the phone, its easier, then I save it till I am ready for it to go live then post it.
Good Luck to you!!! Can't wait to hear about the clutter going!:staradmin :staradmin Emergency Fund @ £300 Non CCJ Debts x 7 @ £2782/ £4055 PAID! I use this website to calculate how much I've made from each item I've sold, I've also started a spreadsheet to log my sales and put the totals in there. Ebay fees go out mid-month so the spreadsheet keeps me motivated to sell.

You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time but you can never please all of the people all of the time0 -
Ooh I'll join too if I may
I'll try and list one item per day as I have about 29 things that need listing funnily enough.
I'll aim for £25 profit but I've plucked that out of thin air!

I agree with Kittycashcake about Sunday nights but definitely not finishing them in daytime working hours.
Do you know about scheduled listings so that you don't have to list it at the time you want it to finish?Debt Apr 15 - £6895.44Apr 17 - £2500

When you list it, you can either choose to list it immediately or schedule it. I'm not sure but they either do charge or used to charge for doing scheduled listings but there is a way round it. Choose scheduled listing but choose a finish date a week or so ahead but then go in and amend it to list immediately at the time you really want it to finish.
I usually do my listings for 5 days so say I want my listing to finish 7pm next Sunday, I could do the listing tomorrow but schedule the start for Friday or whenever, just some date in the future. But then on Tuesday at 7pm I'll edit the listing to start immediately for 5 days and bob's your uncleDebt Apr 15 - £6895.44Apr 17 - £2500

Hi,
so 29 days this month so I'm looking for 29 things to list.
I have 2 pairs of new ghd straighteners, should get £100 each for them. Also I have about 10 pairs of new shoes. I broke my leg really badly last year so these shoes will never be worn as they have really high heels. due to my injury, heals are a big no!! I've thought about selling them loads of times, but whenever I get them out, I change my mind as I love shoes. It's time to let go though lol. I'm going to get them out in a minute, so that's 12 things that I can list. I thought about listing one thing a day but now I'm thinking of doing it together as would be able to post them all at the same time.2016 Goals

Omg that's awesome!!! I had no idea straighteners were that valuable! Let us know how you get on! All my stuff is low low value so I'm gonna have to work hard to hit my £100 profit target.
