Well the Gas Bill's in ! £43.16 incl £18 odd of "standing charges" their estimate £92.69 -so the saving is £49.53 - I'm claiming that !

But it seems we're using too much hot water !
That's a great saving for chopping some wood :rotfl:

Too much hot water  - too many baths (shower), too much washing (put on cool wash), washing hands or rinsing dishes (use cold tap), filling the sink for washing up (use a bowl) or simply a drippy tap.

    Evening all

Well done everyone - such a fantastic start to a cold and miserable February

Well chuffed. Did a couple of Pro Ac today, one of them cleared already and.........first pay out of £20.13 on the way hurray :j

It is two years today that I started on my giving-up-smoking challenge and still going, so I'm giving myself a pat on the back as I never thought I'd do it. Now just need to lose the last four pounds of weight that I put on :rotfl:

Hope you all have a wonderful Wednesday

    Everyone is doing so well!

I have a lonely, single dollar to add, an Amazon code from checkpoints. I do have a bunch of Amazon sales pending however, so that is going well :)

My prolific academic has dried up... not so much as a trickle for ages, but I've just cashed out £50 paypal on Sb. I'm hoping I might get enough before the sale finishes to get another £10 if not £25

    Good morning everyone :)

Firstly, welcome SavingForARainyDay  It's nice and friendly here so I'm sure you'll pick up loads of tips. Good luck with your challenge!

Happy anniversary lynnejk  Two years is brilliant!! Congratulations

The payment I've been waiting for hit my bank account this morning, adding a rather pleasing £160.80 to my total. It's actually a little earlier than anticipated and very very welcome because I've dipped into my overdraft for the first time in I don't know how long  so I'm now back in the black!

Off now to grab breakfast :coffee: I'll pop back later to see how everyone's doing. Have a nice Wednesday :D
