If it all comes off I'll reach my target but then I think l'll reset it - I guess that's allowed?

I don't reset my target so much as increase it. I met £10 a day (290) so increased my target to £12.50 a day (362.50). Once I meet that I'll aim for £15 and so on...

Anyway guys I'm home now! fleabay buyer from last month has opened an INR case on a £5.50 DVD so gonna have to deduct £5.50 from my total

Gotta go to the post office but I'm... running out of cardboard to package stuff up in :o

what does inr mean? not received? did you have proof of postage or send tracked? if so claim back off royal mail. I did.

I used envelopes I get from freebies I send off for. but you can ask the supermarkets early in the morning if you can take any boxes or stuff like that. they just break it down and dispose of it. or try your local freecycle/freegle groups. i have accumulated a lot and if I ever get rid of everything and have stuff left over it will be offered on there.

I do have proof of postage (which is not sufficient for ebay because you have to prove it was RECEIVED not that you sent it which... makes no sense. If I SENT it I fulfilled my obligation) but it's the other side of the coin with royal mail... I can't prove it WASN'T received so claiming back off them for standard first is a nightmare.

I am 5000% willing to bet that the buyer received it. It's been years since I had anything genuinely go awol in the post and buyers know they can just get away with it. Unfortunately sending everything tracked is a guaranteed way to never sell anything because nobody wants to pay for it.

I had a claim fufilled by Royal Mail for the full amount including P and P. I sent via RM proof of posting only, but gave them a link to the ebay listing proving the same customer had purchased it and were now claiming not received. They reimbursed me by cheque in full. I know others who have successfully claimed against RM for the same.

Also i send all my stuff via myhermes except for nail polish which goes via RM and my customers pay for it. I used to add it that p and p was via myhermes but then others said I should say free p and p, but add the p and p to my sale price. That way they got item tracked and still paid for it. It's been working so far.

only reason they suggested free p and p was because I had to pay a fee on postage costs, to ebay.

    I claimed via this

    http://www.royalmail.com/personal/help-and-support/claims-process-for-inland-items

uploaded proof of posting and ebay link to item
  • I can't use MyHermes or other couriers because I don't have a printer to do the postage labels (and no intention of buying one since that's the sole reason I'd use it and would not be cost effective in the slightest), and nobody is going to buy a "free p&p" DVD that's worth £1 and listed for £7 just to cover tracking :rotfl:

And yeah, I know how to claim from Royal Mail but I've been successful all of once. Normally I get the whole "nobody can actually prove it wasn't received" spiel to wriggle out of it.

    Hello everyone,

Glad to see everyone is doing so well with their sales/money making!
After many months of having a pile of stuff "i was going to post later", I finally listed some stuff a couple of weeks ago. Made a couple of small sales on the bay of E, and after fees/postage, I have £17.51 to add to my total. Got to £20 on vivatic, only to be told it won't process until the end of March! Will not add anything that isn't safely tucked away in my account, therefore my total for feb so far is: £43.22.

Hoping for some more sales, and still clicking away at surveys!

    Happy Tuesday evening all!
