  • Thanks everyone - I called Halif@x in the end as I have tons to sell and it's going to come up again and frankly I didn't want to lose £22 over imaginary worries. They told me that it was the same as writing a cheque. The things to NOT give out are long card number and the 3 digit security on the back...

Hi DFD, the other option is Paypal assuming both you and the buyer have an account. Its very easy to get the buyers email address and send them an invoice. Of course there will be a small fee as there always is with Paypal, but in terms of peace of mind and traceability, a lot of people prefer it :)
    £10 a day 2017 - APR £60.12 / MAR £82.24 / FEB £142.82 / JAN £241.24
  • Checking out of February with a £220.46 total.

Got a few eBay sales, a little more topcashback, one last £5 amazon card and managed to clear a last £20+ Prolific cashout. Not too shabby :)

Hope everyone else is pleased with their efforts this month. Some fab amounts coming in!

Now just to hear how our esteemed leader Aesop faired today....? I was thinking of you :)

  • I *may* have made a £22 sale today on FB but the buyer wants to do bank transfer and I'm not sure if it's ok to give out my account details? Any thoughts?

Funny i did ask my bank about this just to check before i did anything and they said on the whole it is fine, but just to be a little careful on social media sites where you may have other personal information which if put together with bank details could provide just a bit too much....

Personally i don't have things like address and phone numbers on there but be careful about things like check in's and apps that could potentially pinpoint your home.

    HTH :D

They didn't want to set up PayPal...

Good thinking! I NEVER check in and keep as much privacy locked down as possible...

After a very slow month I finally got my tax rebate I have been fighting for for 7 months. So I have £1252.20 to add to my total so I'm ending the month on £1389.05 woohoo. Used a chunk of that to pay some debt off so managed to clear £662.45 this month. I will probably pay more later in the month but I don't want to go overboard then be skint at the end of the month. x
What a result - well worth the fight eh :T  :T

    Declaring at £561.18! :j :D :j

Received £8.68 in Amazon royalties this morning :) Nice, but not quite enough to make me a millionaire! Lol!

Quite amused that after months of getting nowhere near my target, I smashed it this month.
    Brilliant - well done on such a fantastic amount :j :T :j
