  • Typical. I have enough points to redeem a amazon voucher on a survey site and they're out of stock again.

Well done on those hitting their targets!!

Things have gone quiet for me, no ebay sales and I keep getting screened out for surveys. But I will keep plodding on.

Have more to list on ebay but these will probably go towards March's target. but I'm happy with my result for February.

Thanks to all who post, you've made this first month a lot easier than I thought possible.
  • £7.00 tips to add for today.

We have spent £6.00 a week on the irish lottery for as long as I can remember and apart from an initial couple of £500 wins its just been dribs and drabs we win.

OH suggested we give it up and I persuaded him to let me use it to overpay so thats going in the pot this week too. :D

  • Two ebay sales for me today so will get those packaged over the weekend and posted on Monday and count those in this months total.

Also went out for lunch with a relative I havent seen in 20 years, mum bought the drinks and the relative the meal so had a fabulous time and didnt spend a penny

    I can't either because I don't even have a job :rotfl:

I also have a lot of stuff to sell. Set myself a personal challenge of decluttering by 366 items this year. But mostly I just take an awful lot of surveys - I earn around £60 a month doing them.

A good chunk of my money this month came from switching banks though - have you done so recently? There's a fair few banks offering switching incentives of £100-150. First Direct, Clydesdale, and Halifax off the top of my head although I know there are more. I actually have a secondary bank account with two Direct Debits linked to it that I move around banks whenever there's an offer on.

I did it a while back but have an overdraft of £1000 (amongst other things) to clear....
  • £13.62 to report today - matched betting again :) that is a total of pennies under £50 since the 16th just on that. Selling seems to have hit an end of the month dry spell at the moment...
  • Ok lovely people... do I cash out for £5 AGC (700) or £5 paypal (850) on swags... can't decide.
    Make £520 a year in 2020 so far (£0 cash £0 AGC)

    (2019,£481.69) (2018, no idea!) ( 2017 £673.20) (2016 £800.97) (2015 £791.42/$312)

    Penny challenge: 21/366 (66.70/671.61)
    NSD 7/150

Get a secondary bank account to do the switching bonus with. Link two direct debits to it. Use it for those and only those. You won't get a bonus for opening one, but you'll get a bonus for switching it somewhere else after it's open.

If there's a minimum pay-in requirement (Clydesdale requires £1,000 within 30 days for example) transfer money from the main account to your secondary account, and then back out again. Do so again the next day. Keep doing it until you've paid in £1,000.

Opening a second bank account and then switching it out is the equivalent of paying 10%-15% of that overdraft.

AGC is better value for money (£1 = 140 points vs £1 = 170 points) but if there's nothing you're looking to get on on Amzn that you're going to put it towards then you'd have to spend money you wouldn't ordinarily to use it, which isn't very :money:
