Whilst you're on premium, bounts should give you points for physically being present in a gym building!

I got mine for a little bit but neither of my gyms are registered with bounts so I can't get points without upgrading which I'm not going to do.

Mine isnt registered but came up on the site map and I got points for my visit on Sunday :D

Do you not think its worth upgrading? I have roughly worked out it should take me about five weeks to reach payout with a premium plus account so should be worth it for me.

I was serious thinking about upgrading my Bounts account too. I have only been walking so far but have achieved either 14000 or 21000 four times this last week (one night I was in bed and had done 13400 steps,so I got up and walked around my living room to get to 14000 :rotfl: It worked though cos I got the extra bounts points!). With the gym, could you not leave your bag in the corner of the room? I've not tried it, but it might work. You're right though, between us we WILL find a way

Overnight 1p interest appeared in my bank account :D
  • Can I join in please?, target of £435 (£15 a day!) :)
I £72 made yesterday (sold a few bits locally on facebook)
debt free in 2016?? I can only try! £2436/£10000

Well done you on the 21000 steps. My highest is 16,000 so far.

As thought the moves app hasnt registered my morning twenty minute walk so will try the mapmyfitness one tomorrow.

    Not for me it isn't:(

Well done to all the amazing money-makers and it's still only halfway through day 2:T

Did manage to complete a survey on Prolific (eventually) after lots of probs getting into my account and other very slow-loading/freezing pages. On the Prolific notification thread that Surfchik set up I saw that some others are having problems with the Prolific website today too. My submission button didn't work and I was worried it wouldn't be accepted as completed but the money is showing in my account as pending so I live in hope. When that pays I'll be over £20 and will do a cashout:j

Another mad woman here! I get to work half an hour early so I can walk around my empty office to get in my steps before the office gets busy. I usually manage just under 2000 before 9am, so puts me off to a good start for the day.

I too am considering upgrading to the premium on bounts. I get my £7000 steps in so easily now, but at 10 credits per time I want more!!

Yes, it's probably quite a clever marketing tool by Bounts. I would never have opted for a paid version if I hadn't been offered it for free. Now I have, I can see that I could achieve way more points by paying the £14.99 to upgrade. Like you, I think it will pay for itself quite quickly. Plus, I'm only walking at the minute. This might encourage me to up the ante and go to my local gym or find a local bootcamp or something :money:

No. Absolutely not. I live in the city centre so most days even with "walking everywhere" I don't hit 7,000 steps as "everywhere" amounts to less than 3.5 miles. I absolutely hate walking for leisure or just 'going for a walk' so that's not going to happen. I have to walk for a reason - to get from point A to point B. Unfortunately as I said the furthest possible "point B" from my house is all of 2 miles... and I don't need to go that far on a daily basis. Maybe like twice a week. Almost NEVER going to hit 14,000 steps.

I'd get about an extra 30points a week with premium and since it's something stupidly large like 2700 points to cash out... honestly even with premium it'd take me like 4 months. It's hardly worth me having the app at all let alone pay for it.

EDIT: my moves app doesn't really count me walking around indoors as I have an old iPhone and it uses the GPS. So I do have to physically leave the house and walk a distance for it to count. No "walking around the house to get that extra 1,000 steps" for me because it doesn't count at all. I can't even do that do get 100 steps if I'm short. I'd have to go OUT to do it. Which... no. Even I'm not that crazy.

ETA: you get points for all health&fitness venues on premium but only registered ones on standard which is why I said I can't get points for mine now I don't have premium. Neither of them are registered (even though one of them is the council-run gym which you'd think...)
