Kasich says yes, but Cruz and Trump trying to ensure opposite. CNN has an interesting and current article on this:

Could the nomination be bought...?

TBH I suspect you have a roughly similar chance of becoming the next President of the US as The Bern. To a European he's probably centre left but to an American I reckon he's beyond the Pale....
He hasn't done that badly so far. Won the last six primaries anyway, which is probably a testament to a widespread mistrust of Ms Clinton.
Still won't win mind you. Unless there's a miracle in New York or something similar.0 -

Yes... If they can find a way around the rules committee '8 state minimum win' issue. So Trump/Cruz will try pretty hard to block Kasich supporters from being on the rules committee.
The problem they have is that Kasich is the only candidate that polls say would beat Clinton or Sanders in the GE. Both Trump and Cruz would lose decisively to either of them.“The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie – deliberate, contrived, and dishonest – but the myth, persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic.

Yes it would - cross posted with my edit to clarify.“The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie – deliberate, contrived, and dishonest – but the myth, persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic.

Thanks for that. Both Trump and Cruz would lose decisively to either of them.
Clinton yes. Sanders I'm less sure about. I don't dispute what the polls currently say, I just think he's too far to the left for America to say with confidence that he'd beat Trump (Sanders would beat Cruz because in that event Trump would presumably also run).0 -
BBC are practically crowing this morning - they obviously don't realise that Cruz is even more the antithesis of their 'liberal' views.
Ted Cruz is positively scary. I would say his views are laughable, but it's terrible as he seems like he really believes what he is saying.0 -
Cruz strikes me as the Nick Griffin to Trump's Nigel Farage. Trump may have bad ideas but he's probably too much of a buffoon to do any real damage. Cruz sounds genuinely dangerous.0

This is Scott Adams, writer of the Dilbert Cartoons, on why Trump will be the next President of the US. Trump was still a rank outsider at the time:
