Now TV boxes dotted around the house would be a lot cheaper... 1 sub includes movies and entertainment is £17 a month with no minimum term. You can't record but most of it is on catch-up and you can always have a freesat recorder as your main box. I really don't think this q thing will take off.

It'll certainly remain a niche product as long as the cost is high and the two Sky systems are incompatible:)

Correct me if I'm wrong,but a Q mini will only broadcast whats being shown on the main box as it is only an extension of that unlike a multiroom in every room where you can watch and record what ever you like and when you like.??????

No, you'll be able to watch a different channel or recording on every box (or the same one if you wish).

Will there be an output on the mini box (i.e. coax)?

At the moment, I've got standard multi-room in bedroom 1 piped out via coax to two other bedrooms (and using magic eye). Obviously, one box one channel at a time but not sure if I want to shell for lots of additional boxes at £99 a time.

EDIT: Although saying that assuming there is coax out and not just scart then no reason why not. Just might lose the magic eye thing we have.

Although interesting isnt remote bluetooth now? So might work from next bedroom lol.
