I tried to PM you but your mailbox is full.
HA HA that is so funny, I wonder why it could be full, perhaps all those unhappy customers!!:)Thanks, don't you just hate people with sigs !0 -
My head might explode if I talk to another talk talk rep anyway. Been on the phone again today to a 'senior manager' who has again said I can't have a voucher but as a good will gesture, instead I can have a £100 bill credit. I refused it and said I want what I signed up for but apparently I have no choice in this matter it a bill credit or nothing.
Let's see if the credit materialises, probably another 20 phone calls to get this credit to be told no one had agreed it.
Am I happy? No I'm not and I would never recommend talk talk to anyone.0 -

You ALWAYS have a choice
You can report the company to the ASA for telling lies in their ads, you followed the advetised offer and were NOT paid.
You can contact the press office and ask them to intervene to prevent you taking it further
Depending on where you are in the country there are local radio stations that have consumer programmes, you go on air and say the problem you are having, they then call the company and ask them why they did not honour the deal.
The company gets an opportunity to respond but it is nearly always positive because everyone on radio are hearing how bad they are.
You can go to the plethora of review sites out there and share your experience
You can respond to every corporate tweet they make and say "that is great but when will you stop promising customers deals that you do not honour" change it up with every tweet and they can't call it spam, it is just engagement. Make sure you include a high profile interested party who will retweet your tweets but also tweet Dido.
You can share on Facebook the terrible experiences you have had with TalkTalk and ask your friends to share it.
Now despite the above, I would rather have a £100 credit than a love2shop voucher, because the credit will lower my costs. Love2Shop just makes me spend money on sheet I do not neeed.
Of course if I was TalkTalk, considering the grief they have put you through, I would be seeking to exceed your expectations, I would credit you with £200, send you a free TV box, free network over power adapters and bump your account to fibre or Fibre + for no additional cost.
That way they turn you from someone who hates them to someone who will at least give them a chance to improve.
You would be happy and tell your friends that despite a lot of problems at the beginning they came through in the end.
Sadly it seems that TalkTalk do not value their reputation. Thanks, don't you just hate people with sigs !0 -
Yes they share data on 4 million customers EVERY MONTH with equifax
They do this
Without warning
Without consent
Without opt out
and in breach of EU Law both data protection and article 8 human rights act right to privacy.
If you want to complain I suggest strongly that you contact the Information Commissioner. We have had IC contact us about complaints that have come in to him so he does act on them.0 -

Have you actually written to them? I mean a letter detailing facts, times contacted, people contacted in a time line and responses. You did note this didn't you?
They do have a complaints department so I would write as above and send recorded.0 -

No Thank-you Emma your Twitter thing is a shambles, and I'm sure you only quote it on MSE to appear helpful. Tried the Twitter thing and didn't get anywhere.0 -
