Talk Talk help, end of my tether

You HAVE to find the energy to fight, your credit record is more important than your passport these days.
For goodness sake you just wanted to have some damn broadband and this disgusting company has ruined your credit record, misled you, run you ragged, made dozens of false promises.
I have posted on here before how TalkTalk abuse the credit reference system, they should not even be sharing data on a credit reference system (which they do every month for their 4m customers), there is no credit.
PM me if you need a hand, I have some contacts in the CEO office and I have some other ideas on how you can get payback.0 -
Talktalk have been telling lies again again. Clearly they have told MSE that they do a 12 month contract! ..... untrue! Switch from Sky and get a voucher of £75. Untrue!
Just tried to renew Broadband and telephone rental (no TV) online ..... just about to sign up and pay upfront when it says I am not entitled to the voucher. ...
I phoned TT and asked why. They were unable to give me any reason other than to say the promotion had finished (rubbish! the promotion lasted for another week.) Girl at other end asked for my full details and she would then put me through to someone to discuss the voucher (remember this was the only reason why I had called them in the first place). I gave them all of my details and was put through to this other chap. I discovered that they had no intention of giving a a voucher, and that I had signed up for 18 months!!!
WHAT!!!!
Told them I wanted 12 month contract .... (sorry we don't do them.) Told we needed a new line (no I don't, we have had Sky BB for last 12 months and prior to that TT). I was told that 18 month was industry standard ...... no its not!
What a load of Tish-wash!!
If you factor in the additional costs for the other 6 months ... TT is more expensive.
Guess what! I immediately cancelled the contract
TT had the nerve to ask for the reasons why I was cancelling.
I was fairly steaming at this point, so being polite, I declined to give a reason.0 -

The other day someone on here told me off for being too critical about TalkTalk, yet here we have ANOTHER customer who was fraudulently signed up by a commission grabbing TalkTalk call centre rep.
I am willing to bet it was from the Indian call centre?
The South African one never tried these dirty tricks and the Filipino one have no real ability, they are just there out of hours when the other one sleeps.
When a TalkTalk call centre person LIES to you ask them to visit http://!!!!!!/TalkTalkLies where it clearly shows they DO offer 12m contracts.
It seems that before engaging with someone from TalkTalk you have to ask them their full name and employee ID number.
Is it not bad enough that we get SCAM callers from the data on 4 million customers that TalkTalk ALLOWED to be stolen?
Now we have to be careful what we say to their actual call centres or are they the same thing??!!Thanks, don't you just hate people with sigs !0 -
I've been with Talk Talk (previously Tiscali) for several years & have had 2 reasons to complain to the CEO Dido Harding, this was done via email to this address Dido.Harding@talktalkplc.com she responded within a short period of time with a member of her team allocated to resolve my issues, these matters were put to bed in a short space of time with recompense for my wasted time & effort.
Sometimes to get a problem solved you have to go to the man or woman at the top to be heard, good luck.'Dont Bury Your Head In The Sand As Your Problems Will Still Exist'

I had a similar experience with Charlie Dunstone but that was several years ago when the CEO team really were a CEO team, these days they seem to be nothing more than a call centre with a script. A plethora of people have had to contact them and found them to be useless.
As I have said before, TalkTalk seems to be changing culture, no longer a service driven company determined to offer the best value for money, now it seems that they are determined NOT to compete and to stick customers with charges left right and centre.
That is why it is so disappointing, because they used to have it right.
I once went on a Japanese management course that talked about the culture coming from the person at the top, so perhaps this is coming from Dido Harding or maybe they are planning on selling the business and they want to inflate the perceived profit of the company.
This forum is a good barometer for the state of ISP's and it seems that they are losing reputation and customers in drones. Thanks, don't you just hate people with sigs !0 -
I'm very happy with talk talk. Customer service had been spot on for me.0

My own experiences with their Customer Service was pitiful, being promised issue would be sorted within 'x amount' of hours/days only for nothing being done, call again & same response, felt like I was being palmed off & it was for this reason that I went to the CEO.'Dont Bury Your Head In The Sand As Your Problems Will Still Exist'

Can someone please tell me how to contact the CEO.
I have had a call today saying I'm not entitled to my £100 love to shop voucher? Why? Because I didn't order it online, which I did.
After all I've been through with this company, they have lied to me so many times. I even had to ask Equifax to investigate a second account talk talk had apparently set up.
Talk talk are the worst company I have ever dealt with in my life. I can't wait to get out of this contract, roll on 18 months.0 -

What you mean for dido harding ?
Well would not be fair to list it as spambots would pick it up but if I tell you that format is
firstname.surname @ talktalkplc.com
Then you can figure it out
Yes they share data on 4 million customers EVERY MONTH with equifax
They do this
Without warning
Without consent
Without opt out
and in breach of EU Law both data protection and article 8 human rights act right to privacy.
In the old days when Charlie Dunstone was CEO they used to have a proper CEO team but now it seems to be just a call centre.
I doubt she reads her own mail
She has her own twitter account so you can name and shame her as well as tweet the corporate TalkTalk account not the oxymoronic talktalkcare
Spend that 18m reporting every awful thing that happens, if you get bad speedtest.net results, tweet them
One thing you can be glad of is that OFCOM gives you a break clause if they increase their price and they keep on doing so.
Remember not to use the landline, charges are a nightmare and of course no TV even if they offer kwap device. Thanks, don't you just hate people with sigs !0 -
