Faulty boiler / faulty maintenance - who is responsible for gas bill?

    Not really a similar situation. The OP is trying to tell us that her excessive usage was caused by the engineers during their visits, which given the amount she's claiming is frankly nonsense.

    Also, unless the boiler is firing, the hot water pump alone isn't going to cause extra gas usage. Can you quantify your "excessive usage" and just as important can you proof that is entirely down to the faulty boiler or installation.
