I scoured the press releases on their website media centre and stumbled upon the name and contact details for one of their product marketing managers (including a mobile phone number!), who sorted my issue very quickly. I shared the details at the time with a few members on here, but sadly it's long gone from my PM sent items folder.
Maybe you could try and do the same now?
EDIT: Obviously if you're 'doubling up' with a RAF deal you may not want someone looking too closely at your dealings with them!0 -
In fairness to Nationwide it is probably not their doing.
They employ HAVES MEDIA GROUP. to do their marketing and as a result are somewhat removed from the end promotion.

Maybe Nationwide should employ someone else;)0

Is there a clause in the T&Cs which precludes 'doubling up'?0 -

Also there is no one at Nationwide that can help me further as no affiliation.
So brick wall well and truly met.
Now I will go back to TCB and tell them that Nationwide say they have no affiliation with them. Any T&C attached to getting the CB are solely made up by TCB also!
Am curious about this now. Have mailed NW asking them to confirm that they have an agreement with TCB as advertised by the latter (or whether claims are BS).0 -

The plot thickens. There are a few? Intermediaries between Nationwide and TCB. So it could be Havas Media Group who have the cash?! Looking after it for Nationwide.
Clearly my account was opened with Nationwide and they had to confirm with SOMEONE that I met the eligibility criteria. This could be Havas which the link shows to be a massive global company using all the indecipherable media claptrap they can to describe what they offer. I don't know what they offer.
So in a way Nationwide may be correct in saying they have no affiliation with any cashback site because Nationwide have an affiliation with a media company called Havas Media Group who in turn have an affiliation with a cashback site called a TopCashback.
That's the kind of sophistic world we live in.
Maybe Nationwide give Havas a shed load of cash (as Havas would say) to run and payout promotions and incentives such as TCB.
Question is who's got my confirmed cashback and why aren't they paying it to me after I opened an account in good faith?0 -
I thought maybe worth linking Q and A

"The 'senior manager' is wrong to a degree as the Nationwide do have a connection with TCB as TCB is an appointed 'agent' working for them, known as an affiliate. Not technically direct, but via the Nationwide's affiliate management.
Basically, Nationwide use affiliate marketing to sell their products. They use an affiliate manager to do this for them and affiliates, like TCB, are appointed agents"

I have done this offer on Quidco and TCB and on both occasions waited quietly and patiently and received payment, risk of people contacting Nationwide directly is that this excellent offer which has been running a long time will get pulled.0 -
i have been waiting since December 2014 for cashback from Topcashback for taking out a Barclaycard. It has tracked but still not been paid.0

Based on my experience with Santander, the problem will be with the financial institution who is providing incentive. Soon after the complaint handler phoned to tell me the incentive had be paid, my tracking in TCB became payable.0
