X Spender - belated congratulations on the new house.
Apple - so sorry to hear that your dh didn't even get a big send off, but pleased that his appointment went well.
WelshKitty. hope you're feeling better soon. Definitely no sign of epileptic episodes? I presume they checked you out for that.
I have suffered from migraines for a lot of years as well. They usually make me feel rubbish for about 3 days but I haven't had one for a while (touch wood). They are quite well controlled with amitriptyline but I need to make sure I sleep well and stay hydrated.
Anyway, I'm sheepishly sneaking in to declare a MASSIVE spend day.I got a couple of codes on email for the w0rks and £land so have been on there and spent to my hearts content. Well, not exactly. I need to go through the orders properly but I have sorted out Valentine's Day, Easter, Mother's Day, Year 11 leavers gifts, plus some Christmas stuff and a few things to add to the grocery budget. So whilst spending a bit over £60 feels like loads, when I see how much I've gotten for that I feel a bit more relaxed.
We also had BHF day at school, which cost me a fiver in total - covered me and the kids entrance to the Red Rave exercise event after school and red juice and sweets afterwards. So it feels mega spendy to me.Not giving up
Working hard to pay off my debt
Time to take back control

WelshKitty - gosh so sorry to hear your news. How frightening. I would definately see your doctor. Thank goodness your husband was in the house.
Apple - Glad your OH at least is getting better with his eyes even if the job is now a worry. Don't you always feel if it's not one thing it's another.
Mars - well done building your holiday fund up.
Elephant - £70 for Chinese! Wow. .that's a whole lot ta prawn crackers
Have to say it's so nice to be home. Haven't done anything today other than very light tidying and back to bed. I still can't pick her up but can have her on my lap if I lie her back. At least we can have cuddles." Your vibe attracts your tribe":D

Welshkitty - I agree with the others. Hope you don't have another one.
Turns out the doughnuts were nothing to do with the BHF at DD's school yesterday, they had 400 of them and they all sold out at morning break, one boy bought two trays of 12, that's £24 worth:eek:.
Today me and DH are carrying on with our list of jobs on the house, we also have to take some glue back to B&Q because it was rubbish, call at Boots for a hair colour for me and I need to try and get DD some new underwear too. I also want to get out for a bike ride and give the dog a good walk
Yesterday I chopped 3 inches off my own hair. I have curly hair which gets very dry and the ends of it were a tangled, snapped mess so I chopped them off - this is not easy. Later when I had washed it I got DH to level it up - he was very nervous but as the curls are all different it doesn't need to be super straight. In a few months I will get it cut and coloured professionaly.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

Had a productive morning so far
Dog has been for a walk, DH has taken DS for his swimming lesson and in the 45 minutes they have been out of the house I have put a pile of ironed laundry away and 2 baskets of clean laundry have been sorted and put away, changed the sheets on DS bed, sorted the dirty laundry and put on the first load and vacuumed and dusted the living room and hall. Oh and I have checked the internet banking and unloaded and re-loaded the dishwasher too<-smug face
I am having a quick cuppa and then I need to take DS for his hair cut and drop off the dry cleaning. I will need to pay the extra £1 to get it done today as I am away with work Monday to Thursday next week and I need clean clothes!
DH is taking DS to his first football match this afternoon. I am taking them so far in the car then they will catch the train the rest of the way and I will pick them up at the same point this evening. While they are there I am going to go to the gym for a short, easy run and a half hour swim. First visit this year  I also need to buy a pencil sharpener and some wonder web and some beer for DH (he is paying for that). I might need some more pizza cheese and fruit too. DH has £9 odd of nectar points on his card so I might use some of those.
We are making pizzas for tea tonight at DS request, will make some spicy wedges too. There is enough of DH's jam and cream sponge birthday cake that DS (5) almost made entirely himself yesterday left for pudding.Save £10,500 - £2673.77 - 25.5%

Dolly - my OH cuts my hair and his and our son's. My hair style isn't much but it suits me fine. I have thick straight hair that I tend to let grow far to long but I never wear down anyway. Tend to wear a top knot. I reckon we save around £40 a month in hair cuts.
Also what an insane amount of money to let a child have access to to buy cakes with!
Xspender - your a whirling dervish today aren't you! Think you must have my share of energy too. As I've already complained on other threads today I feel weak as a kitten. Which is not something I'm used to. Even after 2 c sections I was up and about in days but this has knocked me for 6. I can just about stagger round a bit and then my energy runs out. It didn't help having a 7 day period of almost nil by mouth. I have no idea how long the goodness from food takes to get back into your body?
Enough moaning. I have a friend driving to see me in this awful wind so I'm a bit worried about her. But hopefully tea and cake with a good gossip will sort me out.

Welshkitty get to the Drs now too much of a risk if it happens again and you are alone.
Xspender. You have worn me out. Throw some energy my way please got earache and a stinking headache cold. Gutted as a lovely day planned and had to cancel.
Bob will do you good cake and a natter. Did anyone see The one show the other night, had a cafe which which was used by all types of people suffering with depression, loneliness and mental illness showed how just having a pop in cafe, for a chat, meet people, also had professional counselling on hand just lifted people's moods. It was just a lovely idea.
I spent £10 last night in the pub, had a good catch up with a friend who needed to go out and have few hrs off her worries.
Today I will achieve a Sfd as in no fit state to go anywhere. Now jumped back into bed which isn't like me.

Hi all,
calling - congratulations on getting below 4k :j
bob - have you tried eating iron rich foods now you are eating again? Your body has to constantly make new red blood cells to keep up with the old ones which keep dying and maybe your iron levels have dropped with you having 7 days of not eating.
I have finally had chance to sit down and look at my finances. I had done my budgets at the end of last month as my money month runs 25th-24th, but due to the ex messing around with a payment he should have made to me (still no sign of it) and an annual bill that I always forget (need to put it on the calendar), I have had to make some tweaks. I have basically spent most of my budgets but at least I haven't gone further into debt. I've also had a direct debit come out for a ccard payment so that takes me to under 5k :j
Today is a spendy day as got petrol and human and animal food. Hopefully the ex is coming round later to finally remove his belongings from my garage and I will challenge him about the money.
Have a good day everyone, hope you manage to stay dryLBM = 07/09/13 Debt = £13339 (100% cleared)

I wish we spent less and then I could have it more often!!!Have to say it's so nice to be home. Haven't done anything today other than very light tidying and back to bed. I still can't pick her up but can have her on my lap if I lie her back. At least we can have cuddles.
Sorry you can't pick up baby bob - at least you are able to get some cuddles from her.
Hope you feel even better soon0 -

"You are responsible for exactly who, what, and where you are in life. That will be just as true this time next year. Situations aren’t important. How you react to them is." – Kekich Credo #58
Where do you want to be this time next year? How much do you want to have paid off your debt or your mortgage? Or how much do you want to have saved? Do you have plans and schemes to keep yourself on track? And a back-up plan for when life gets in the way?
What do you also want to have achieved/completed/done by the time we are in February 2017?NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0
