Have had several decent walks that have been over 20/30 mins but no credits for these. Am I doing something wrong?
Am at the gym in the morning for a step class so will be interesting to see if my points go on for that and my class.
You will only get the points for the steps. If you track your activity using a different app it should work.
I use move to count steps and strava to track runs. Did a run this morning and it's already on bounts. Got the points for the 7000 steps and then the points for the strava run.0 -
I am using a fitbit to do all my tracking.
Have done step class this morning and nothing credited for gym visit even though I followed all instructions putting gps on phone and mobile data etc.
Got my ten points for 7000 steps completed but nothing for activity.
Im getting really frustrated as bought the fitbit especially to use in conjunction with bounts.
Wont be worth upgrading if I cant get it sussed.:(Make £10 a Day Feb .....£75.... March... £65......April...£90.....May £20.....June £35.......July £600 -
Scrap that :rotfl: points just gone on for visiting the gym so I've got that one sorted.
Just need to work out how to get it to register my activities.

For me, it always works if I have the mapmyfitness app running and then refresh the bounts app. If I don't do it that way round it still always syncs eventually but sometimes lags for a day or two. I gather that with all the new people joining from MSE the synch is suffering from a bit of lag at the moment generally.
It never seems to actually "lose" them though.
I've been using Bounts with fitbit for ages (I've had about £100 of B&Q and Sainsbury's vouchers), but tried adding mapmyrun in the new year. ALthough it says it is connected it doesn't seem to be updating. Any suggestions?0 -

Hmmm .
I don't think it will if it's the same app.
Edit: Just thought it definitely won't as there is max points for each app. So if you do the 7000 steps you've already got the max daily points for the fitbit app.0 -

Hmm Im not sure about that. Cant really use a different app for activities........thats the whole point of a fitbit surely? Its on your arm and registering all the time. Cant exactly strap my mobile to my arm whilst jumping around like a mad woman. :rotfl:Make £10 a Day Feb .....£75.... March... £65......April...£90.....May £20.....June £35.......July £600 -
You can't blame fitbit - its bounts that has the daily limit
You could consider paying for the premium/premium plus bounts if you think its worthwhile0 -

If you use apps on your phone (moves, run keeper, strava, mapmyrun etc) they will record steps an you will be credited for the steps from each one as an 'activity'. Then fit it will record the steps they can't.
Even without mapmyrun working at the moment I'm recording around 10 activities a week from fitbit and moves.0 -
After getting the weekly e-mail I looked at this and am impressed enough to have purchased a membership.
For me I think it is a no-brainer. I tend to walk at-least 14,000 steps per day and have at least two 20 minute (plus) walks to and from the office every day. In addition I am involved in tennis and so will get to check in on a fairly regular basis.
That means I will probably average around 100 points per day.
As I don't have a fitness tracker remembering to load apps / hit start buttons might get annoying but hopefully I will get in the habit.0 -

Fitbit just arrived and in process of setting up so will be back later.

All I want is one to use with bounts, and maybe tell me how many Valerie's I have burnt each dayWork to live= not live to work0
