I completed 7000 steps today and did two periods of twenty mins moderate exercise. (walking) but dont seem to have been credited.
Maybe goes on following day? I thought they would apply within minutes of completing activity.
I really want this to work as think it will be worth upgrading for me but will give it a couple of weeks before deciding.Make £10 a Day Feb .....£75.... March... £65......April...£90.....May £20.....June £35.......July £600 -
Eeekkk my data allowance went through the roof using the map my fitness along side Bounts I think I will need to re think how I use this app.
Great idea to get us all motivated though xx0 -
John Stuart at Bounts says their app is "flooded" due to M Lewis via a message on the App!
They cannot cope with the new members and the app is giving errors/failing/not updating points quickly.
They say that "eventually" it will be good news for the members as well as if they get bigger as a result of MSE they will get us "more" rewards!0 -
It think it's worth giving it a few days for points to be credited as is says.
I have to say the website is not great. Can't find the information I'm looking for. Like what are credits? Different to points?0 -
I've been using it for about a year. I got parachuted in to the "premium" account for free when they introduced it (it was all free when I signed up). I use it hooked up to mapmyride/mapmyfitness, and occasionally I've managed to get it to register a visit to my local gym. This is just to give you a bit of background on how I use it.
Generally, the mapyfitness hookup is very reliable. The bounts app itself is pretty battery- and data-hungry so I don't leave it all on the time. I usually start it up for a few minutes each evening on my wi-fi to synch with my tracking app. I've only got it to register a visit to the gym based on gps on very rare occasions so I don't bother leaving that active any more.
So far I've cashed in for a £5 Sainsburys voucher and £10 Costa card. I'm about half way to a £5 top-up on my costa card.
Happy to answer specific questions if I canDo you not know that a man is not dead while his name is still spoken?

I understand the points but what are credits?0 -
Connected my Mapmyfitness account, went out the other day but nothing has appeared on the bounts app. Don't know what i'm doing wrong?
I'm guessing I have to press "start workout" before going out and leave it on all day?0 -

For me, it always works if I have the mapmyfitness app running and then refresh the bounts app. If I don't do it that way round it still always syncs eventually but sometimes lags for a day or two. I gather that with all the new people joining from MSE the synch is suffering from a bit of lag at the moment generally.
It never seems to actually "lose" them though.

m getting my points each day for getting my 7000 steps in but was on the understanding that you got points for an activity?
Have had several decent walks that have been over 20/30 mins but no credits for these. Am I doing something wrong?
Am at the gym in the morning for a step class so will be interesting to see if my points go on for that and my class.Make £10 a Day Feb .....£75.... March... £65......April...£90.....May £20.....June £35.......July £600
