Lemon drizzle here. Needs to be eye wateringly lemony though.Outstanding mortgage: £23,181 (December 19)

Looks like lemon drizzle is extremely popular around here! I’m feeling particularly hungry now with all this mention of cake.0

Three more chickens joined our little flock yesterday, taking us up to 6. I’m hoping we will have lots of eggs in the near future
Although we were on the go all day yesterday, it didn’t feel like we got much done. I posted the letter cancelling the old life insurance at last. The DD will be cancelled in a minute then that can be crossed off the list.
All the yard was swept clear of water and by the time we went back up a couple hours later to sort the chickens it was flooded again. Lots of work needed there.
I am only 1000 steps away from my weekly target of 100000 however, with two whole days left to go :T0 -
Thats pretty good legwork
Happy Easter to you too0 -
Carrot or black forest for me please
Congratulations on the new additions to the flock, thats going to be great. How long do they take to settle in?2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
I have no idea how long they take to settle in! This is the first time we’ve had any additions, we’ve bought them from the same place and followed their guidelines. We shut them in the hen house yesterday and left them in there, then popped our other hens in when dark, then they will all have popped out when the door opened at dawn.
Hubby has gone to see how they are settling in, we stayed for a while last night after putting them all to bed and there were no unhappy sqwarks, so hopefully all were happy!
The chicken place suggests a week or two before they start laying as they are still young.0
