Hope you're feeling better and well done for having money left in your account :money:
Enjoy the rest of your weekend xxOriginal mortgage £112,000 . Final payment due August 2027.
Mortgage neutral achieved August 2020 - 7 years early!!!0 -
Thank you PP, Sunday was a lovely day spent with both DDs and grandson. I was completely worn out by the end of the day.
My weeks are flashing by so quickly. The good news is not much money is being spent and the meal plan is holding up.
TCB money has reached my savings account and the quote has come through for the garage modifications. Not sure when the builder can fit us in but there is enough money put aside for it.
I will be off out this morning with the pupster, there is an event every weekend now for the next 4 weekends with him. Luckily all local, so quite cheap but it will take some organisation to fit everything in!
I will try and squeeze in some updates on the quarterly accounts before I head off.0 -
Have a good day.0

Thank you tryharder.
I have another cold type bug now, do they not know I have things to do? So not as much done yesterday as I would have hoped and plenty of rest planned today.
Hopefully it will give me chance to complete the accounts (very optimistic planning there!) I would also love to get another flavour soup in the freezer to give a bit of variety next week.
I have had an idea about offering to buy a barn that is next to our stables, I have no idea if the owners will be willing to sell it off separately or even if we could afford it, but it has got to be worth finding out.0 -
February is whizzing by, which is good as it is always a tough month for me. We have nearly made it through the winter, with all of the extra expense and work that it brings, but not quite.
Money is not going so well this month. I’ve had to borrow a small amount from savings to cover the last food shop, but it should see us into March. I didn’t have time to mealplan so over ordered. It just goes to show how important meal planning is to us really.
Our fuel bill was calculated and it seems extremely expensive compared to normal. We’ve just upgraded the heating system so there are thermostats in the radiators and have a nest to install. Hopefully this will help.
The doors out into our back garden won’t open, the lock or handle is jammed somehow, so that needs looking at today, hopefully it won’t be too expensive to fix.0 -
I have a snow day today, so planning to catch up with some admin things and possibly may end up having to walk to the stables. I am glad I ordered too much with the last food shop now.
Not working will mean less money coming in, but the roads are treacherous out there even in 4x4 so really not worth the risk. I think DD is going a bit stir crazy though being stuck at home with us. I havent seen her this much in months!
Coming home early yesterday and sitting in front of the fire watching the snow come down felt a bit like Christmas.
Maybe a few days of being snowed in will help me clear some things off my to-do list!0 -
Hope your neddies are OK.0

Thanks SHS, I think they cope better with the snow than we do. I am not looking forward to trying to get up there later to feed them though. May have to walk some of it. Hope you are all ok x0
