I hope the hay is dust free and sweet smelling for you. X0

It’s smells wonderful SHS
All neatly stacked in the hay barn now!
We use the same farmer for hay we have always used, we are actually closer to him now we have moved. His wife does the turkey for Christmas and the granddaughter helped us load up the hay, it’s a real family affair.0 -
Happy Christmas ETE - I hope you are having a good one x0

Thank you BusyMee, we had a lovely Christmas at Elephant towers, all the socialisation has taken it out of me a bit, although it was enjoyable.
No work this week thankfully, so I’m planning to potter around and recharge my batteries and get very wet if the forecast is accurate. The stables flooded yesterday so we may look to bring forward the work we were planning to do up there.
I hope everyone has enjoyed their festivities and is getting ready to tackle next year!0 -

As usual this time off work is going far too quickly. We have been out exploring new places with the dogs quite a bit
and actively avoiding the crazy shops, so no spends there.
I had my hair done yesterday for the first time in about 18 months. Our village has a pub, a village shop and a hairdressers so I thought I would give the hairdressers a try and was very pleasantly surprised. The hairdresser was lovely and has horses not far from ours and so I got lots of local horsey information whilst having my hair done. The cost was even cheaper than my usual friends and family discounted price at the town hairdressers I normally go to as well without the hassle of getting there and paying for parking etc. I will certainly be returning
We have a busy few days coming up, meeting up with family and friends so I’m going to try and relax today, although hubby has just gone out on an emergency job as the storm last night fried some equipment.0 -
That's a good find! I don't have a good cheap local one anywhere, so I go back to the city where I used to live, which is one of those non-booking places. Only ever once had a bad cut, over the course of several years, so it's worth doing.

A good hairdresser is a good find - I have been going to the same one for 23 years. She cut the kids hair too ( and Mr Mee’s when he had some). My son won’t let anyone else touch his hair, he used to come back from university just to get his hair cut. They are brillIant for local information and gossip too.
We have some very soggy snow here today and I am hoping it will disappear by tomorrow as we have a long drive south.0 -
Boo hiss to the stables flooding.0
