Buchanan Clark & WellsWhat do I do? As far as I am aware I do not owe, or have ever owe HFC Bank any money. I have only lived at my current address for 6 months and have never had any dealings with HFC Bank.I googled BCW and ended up here, so now I'm looking for help and guidance as to what to do now.0 -

Maybe start a new thread.0 -
I've just received a letter for an address that I haven't lived at for over 15 months, it's got my name on it but I know I paid all my bills before I left. I still have copies of my bills with the date I paid.
I'm quite concerned about this letter, any idea's on what I should do? Should I contact them or just ignore it until they state specifically what this is about?0 -
we should have a poll; who is the worst behaving DCA. My vote goes to Mackenzie Hall, with Buchannan Fart and Smells a close second.0

I have now had 2 texts from BC&W quoting a reference number and a telephone number to call.
However, the name on the text is not mine.
Could XXXXXX XXXXXX please contact BCW Group urgently on XXXXXXXX quoting unique reference XXXXXXX.
How did they attach another person's name to my mobile number? It's not remotely similar.
I Googled because this is the second text I have received, thought the first was just a mistaken digit on a mobile number. My worry is that the next time I may answer the call.
Has anyone else been contacted by text?0 -
I've just received an automated voice message on my answer machine, from BCW, and an internet search led me here.
We've lived in this private rented house for just over 12 months. Last Tuesday we got a new Virgin, Ex directory phone number. We don't have any credit cards, loans, or any other finance. We lived overseas for 9 years before we rented this house so I've no idea why they're calling here and the message didn't say it was for anyone in particular so it might not even be for us.
I was going to call them back but thankfully read this thread first and now I've decided to ignore it and see if they send something in writing. We do sometimes get letters for the old tenants but we stick them back in the post saying 'not at this address'. We'll see...0 -
BCW are the a*s*oles of DCA: make Lowell seem semi-professional: I would definitely send them the 'prove it ' letter, don't let them bully you into anything: golden rule, never admit anything, do all contact in writing0
